  1. The hard questions first, huh? What other pre-code horror did Frazetta do? Was any of his EC work for the horror titles? Or ACG?
  2. It's certainly there now -- and highlighted in yellow. I'm positive it wasn't there before. The book was relisted a couple of days ago after first being listed a month or so ago. I'll speculate that they received it back after the buyer spotted the glue. Either that or I'm going blind! Possibly both. (thumbs u
  3. Well, it's probably been done to death, but it's a quiet Sunday, so... Who would you rate high in the pantheon of pre-code horror & sci fi artists, and why? Show examples of covers and/or stories if you have them! George Evans
  4. Me too. Something to do with romance comics, right?
  5. The good ones are his And I think Joanna and/or Richard might have some scans.
  6. Who said you're going to win it? Me, myself and I The three faces of GAtor! You'll be fine, as long as you don't fall to bickering with yourselves.
  7. Commitments in India force me to offer some bigger books: Flex's New Sales Thread Happy to consider reasonable offers.
  8. That's a great cover Bill - and one I'd never seen before.
  9. I'm grateful for the responses. A few days ago Lucina got in touch to say that Mridula's husband has had a dizzy spell while riding his bike. He crashed, but seems to have escaped with minor injuries. He'd recently been diagnosed with a blood disorder. (My guess would be diabetes.) I'd already been thinking of going back, for many reasons, and this decided me. So I'll be returning at Easter...
  10. I dont think it's Stan. This looks like a B movie still
  11. Kind of looks the same as this artist, who I'm pretty sure isn't Colletta. This cover was a swipe of Baker's Teen-Age Romances 43 cover. Giordano?
  12. I fondly remember Harley's trips to London. He'd let you take a big stack of books home overnight and didn't blink when you said "I'll take this one, Harley." I think the only place he hasn't sold comics is Antarctica - and he'd go there too if they had a mart. Am I correct in thinking his web site is now defunct?
  13. Thanks Jayman. I was just discussing this with another boardie, who helped me recollect that after it was slabbed, it had been listed on Ebay for a rather hefty price. I assume it failed to sell. I was lucky to win it for far less than that in a subsequent Heritage auction.
