    Just want to keep this thread alive while I recharge. So here is another in the occasional series of photo-essays from my last visit to Bonhooghly in 2009. Hopefully they capture some of the vibrancy of market day in a Bengali village. High time I went back!

    Babel 17 is a great novel. Was he 17 when he wrote the Jewels of Aptor? Nova as his last great novel - after that he just seemed to lose it the way Heinlein did.

    I found some of the books to be very elusive in higher grade than VG, and not just the lower numbers. It surprised me to find how hard it was to get a #61 in better than VG. Of course now that I have a 7.5 less than a few weeks after I buy it there were 2 copies above that for sale. That seems ot happen a lot in life. There are books that consistently elude us, however we try. That's why this is a great achievement.
