  1. Adamstrange was already taken. Maybe I didnt quite think that through. The real Alanna: I'm thinking I should change it to Baron Munchausen. Baron Munchausen: Me:
  2. Useful info! I know the ones below #30 or thereabouts are very tough, and some of those above arent seen too often.
  3. Superworld - but it has definitely sold - Ted had four guys lining up for it he told me.
  4. Nice! Those Speed comics are so hard to find. Great pick up! I thought the PQ was a bit iffy but CGC doesn't really do PQ very well anyway. It's a cool cover, though. Impossible to find these in really nice condition.
  5. Does that mean you'll finally sell me your copy?...... Dont you have twelve copies already Ty?
  6. Where would we be without Edgar? Comics General perhaps? If so, we owe a lot more to the man than just a bunch of purdy comics. Yes, of course you are absolutely right - there would not be a hobby as we understand it without him.
  7. Where would we be without Edgar? Comics General perhaps?
  8. Dont recall ever seeing this before - and what a great copy too!
  9. This is another stunner. Anyone have a nice copy of 17? I love that cover. Calling adamstrange!
  10. I think this is my favourite Ditko cover. Great copy! Richard, didnt you recently acquire a nice copy of this one as well?
  11. I think one can make the case for this as the strongest of all PCH titles, and within that the Ditko run from #12 to #15 as good as anything in the genre. #12 might arguably have a better cover, but this might be the strongest issue overall and I cant recall ever seeing a better copy.
  12. Great copy of a great book. I think this is the one that features a Rudy Palais story about a female bluebeard who considers herself too beautiful for any man to deserve, so she kills all of her suitors and plays skittles with their bones. I've always been interested in these examples of ealry precursors of PCH. There are some outstanding Lev Gleasons. Alongside #33 I think these three rate most highly for me, though of course there are many others!
  13. Cover to cover one of the best comics of all in terms of both art and story. As far as I recollect every story is about a serial killer. (Am I right Scott?)
  14. Wonderful run of classic covers. I've always loved this one. Female vampires - they're my favourites (and I like them in comics as well). I had a copy of this about 20 years ago but was really disappointed tha the cover didnt relate to an interior story. I always wondered if the cover related to a story published in another issue. Does anyone happen to know? That cover tells a heckuva story anyway!
