Not precisely what you asked, but I no longer feel any joy at seeing the Jerry Robinson copies circulate... your link right there is exactly why. Feels like every last one of them is being pushed by sellers trying to squeeze every last dollar out of them. It's within their rights to do so, but it's depressing.
Totally agree. That’s why I’m trying to jump on any auctions that come up. The BINs are just absurd

Not many GA sales of these. You have some characters on the bay listing them for a 10x premium that will never sell Like this one
Bur what actually is a fair premium? There have been some Jerry Robinson/Stan Lee/Bob Kane file copies I’ve seen, but not in recent memory.
Lots of these types of books coming up on CL this weekend but the prices are so wonky and unpredictable to the point it’s impossible to set a bidding strategy with a limited budget.
Any help is appreciated

Willing to place a friendly wager with you that it goes for more than your high guess of $25K, especially since it is the 3rd highest graded copy ar CGC 8.5 and behind only the Church and the Windy City pedigree copies. Especially since this CGC 4.0 graded copy was able to fetch $18K with another whopping 26 copies in higher graded condition at the time of sale in late 2022:
Congrats on your prediction!

Interesting... What's wrong with gal? And sorry but I think 65k is the hard cap on that one.
Umm, have you watched any of her movies recently? Check out these reddit threads where she is absolutely EVISCERATED

Not a Gal Gadot fan for obvious reasons but I think the WW1 breaks into the 70s

People forget this is the first appearance of both plastic man AND phantom lady. According to recent sales and trends on this book, I see this selling for $50k+ this week, and 75k+ in the next few years, maybe 6 figures after the reboot (hollywood insider tip for you all).
I'd put money on $40k+ but I don't see this hitting the $50,000 mark based on some of the other GA sales in this auction so far.

If the 2.5 here sold for 7 times guide value, then is this a 50k+ book?
(Also curious as to what a fair price is for the All Select 9 promise collection copy)

The book has an older label, but by current standards would this be restored or conserved with the glue?
I also found another Police Comics 1 CGC 2.5 that sold on Heritage Auctions that had glue but also has the unrestored label. Is the glue from the factory or printing process maybe?
Thanks!

In sports cards, yes. In comic books, not so much.
Gotcha, thanks!

Which makes the selection of Goldin as the auction venue for such a niche book even more puzzling.
What's the issue with Goldin? I see them on tiktok pretty often and they seem pretty big.
How much of a premium do creators’ personal copies fetch?
