I believe that they are releasing two books every two weeks. So Batman and teen titans should be out pretty soon. 

Just saw on eBay that the second issues of Superman and Justice League are now hitting the stores. 

Stopped by my nearest super center yesterday hoping some issue 2’s may already be out and saw that some number 1’s were restocked. 

They now had 4 copies of Teen Titans 1 but they all had damaged corners. 

Just stopped by a Super Center. They had all in stock except Batman, which was the one I really wanted. 

Two copies of Teen Titans were left and both looked really sharp, 9.6+. 

From what I remember, the recent DC newsstands are a dollar more than their direct market counterparts. That’s a huge difference to me and newsstand should be acknowledged on the label. 

I was a big fan of the Batman new 52 newsstands. I picked up issues 7-50 at Barnes & Noble when they came out. I was so disappointed when only Batman 23.1 received a newsstand variant. 

Sadly, my local Barnes & Noble no longer carries newsstand copies. I’d have loved to get a Batman 50.

I really think issues 131 (1st Darius), 133 (1st Lydia cameo (unnamed)) and 135 (1st full Lydia) have legs.

I might add 134 in there. Lydia does appear, has lines, get stabbed and captured by Jesus. All before her unmasking.

Darius is 133. He's the guy Jesus brought back after the Whisperers stabbed him.

Someone needs to show me why 132 is the first full appearance of Alpha over 138. I just don't see it.

She also appears in 133 in two pages talking to Dante.

I'm actually going to break my usual "spoil myself now, and I'll hate myself later" and wait til tomorrow at my LCS. I'm sure it delivers for all this build up.

Yes she was, but the intent is there. 132 or 138 are not labeled yet, but 135 is.

138 > 132 on Alpha IMO. Yes we find out its Alpha cameo or whatever in 132 (after the fact) but we don't see her face or hear her identified as Alpha.

She does appear in two pages in 133 as well talking to Dante.

I get why Carl left. I get that he has some deep underlying issues with this whole apocalypse thing and his face. He got his willy wet and now he's in love, I get it.

 

What I don't get is Alpha's agenda. I get why she's mad, cause they evaded her space. Is that it though? What's her role, what's her goal? Doesn't seem like she means harm, maybe just left alone. Will Rick hold a grudge and take her out?

Last week I bought a #8 from eBay. I message the seller first to make sure it was a first print. He assured me it was..

I received the book this week. I opened it immediately to check the printing.... It was a second print.

 

So I had the seller give me a refund.. and I put that towards a different #8 on eBay. I made sure to message this new seller to confirm it was a first print. The new seller confirmed that it was. So I received it today, opened it...... Another Second F'n Print!!

 

WTF!!!!!

 

You should be able to tell the printing by looking at the UPC box. The second print has 00812 inside the box.

 

That is, if they're showing the actual image in the listing.

Yeah that guy is the Reverse-Flash IMO (the cop is a red herring)

 

I think so(pretty clever too.) It's cool that they have changed things up enough so that current fans aren't sure exactly what's coming.

It looks like Rick barely cut Negan. In fact, it looks more like Rick dipped the knife in paint and flicked the paint at Negan.

 

that means that either:

a) Negan has just a scratch and won't die or

b)Rick used and infected knife and wants Negans death to be a slow burn.

 

I'm also feeling more that Rick may die next issue. The fact that so much emphasis was put on Rick not having the fever makes me think he might actually be doomed.

 

Not to mention he's surrounded by Saviors. In issue 100, when Negan had Ricks group on their knees, he said this:

 

Soooo if Rick didn't make a move in 100 because of the Saviors, what makes this situation different?

 

Either Kirkman is cooking up the biggest mind-eff we've ever experienced, or he's lost his touch.
