does a 9.9 get an extra layer of scrutiny at cgc?

i.e. does the grader need to get approval at a different level when it comes to a high profile book of this nature? Or is it as long as the 3 graders agree on a 9.9 it gets that grade?

same here packed the comic great and threw in a free book as well.

that is officialy creepy. I just checked my email and yup its in there. What possesses a professional to think that is appropriate in a mass email to consumers?

It must be NYC. First the journal of Commerce newspaper is from NY:

Journal of Commerce -- New York , NY -- location is in southern New York. The Journal of Commerce is a nationwide publication covering the transportation industry. Great source for information on logistical and maritime companies.

And I doubt many cities outside NY circa 1941 had a hebrew newspaper on the front of a newstand.

what funny with those pics is i keep seeing Wilbur in the front. I bet MLJ had so much clout that they were either able to get them to put it in the front or they paid extra to the dealers for front display.

im pretty sure thats a katy keene 24 and the pep is 114 which puts this around september 1955, and since katy keene was a bi-monthly that matches the other comic stated above.

I love being able to figure out the rough dates without specifically seeing the issue.

I was wrong its KK #26 which was Jan 56.
