  1. does a 9.9 get an extra layer of scrutiny at cgc?

     

    i.e. does the grader need to get approval at a different level when it comes to a high profile book of this nature? Or is it as long as the 3 graders agree on a 9.9 it gets that grade?

    that is an amazing picture. the Saturday Evening Post is cover dated March 29, 1941.

     

    What is the mag to the right of the Reader's Digest? w/ "Is Your Child's (teacher?)..." on the cover?

     

    It must be NYC. First the journal of Commerce newspaper is from NY:

     

    Journal of Commerce -- New York , NY -- location is in southern New York. The Journal of Commerce is a nationwide publication covering the transportation industry. Great source for information on logistical and maritime companies.

     

    And I doubt many cities outside NY circa 1941 had a hebrew newspaper on the front of a newstand.
