  1. and last... Moon Knight - age related issues but no damage inside
  2. Can the 1968 Sub-Mariner make grade? The "G" next to the issue number looks like someone penciled it in but I can't decern any pressure points on the page so was it treated with something? Inside pages are age yellowed
  3. A 1979 issue of Spider-Man - what's your grade? Inside pages are yellowed and the small tear on the lower back cover does go all the way to the front.
  4. I spent a couple of weeks cataloging the 1300+ comics I inherited (thank you - now I know I may have listed a few of them incorrectly on my catalog!) Would this forum be the best place to post my catalog and then I could pull and scan pictures?
  5. Appreciate the information and YES I have a lot to learn. I have utilized ebay to see what many of these are selling for but I have a long way to go in learning grading requirements. We are about to move and Husband doesn't want to haul the boxes around with us so was hoping to find a few that are in good enough condition to warrant taking time to get the best price for them.
  6. Thanks for the "suggestions" will do better in future. I inherited over 1300 comics from my brother when he passed and none are graded or slabbed. I can't see getting even half of them slabbed with the cost to do so and I don't know anyone near that I believe would give me an honest evaluation of each ones value.
  7. Attached are issues 1 and 2. Have issues #1 thru 5 in this year (have dbl copies of 2-5) and all show age yellowing on pages. In #1 is 'cleaner' but there is signs of aging in the paper and there are two pages (9/10-11/12) with little nicks at the bottom page. In #2 three pages 11/12, 13/14 & 15/16 with tiny nicks on bottom edge. If these are of any value would you recommend "cleaning" or leaving as is? Also, should I decide to slab, would you slab all 9 or just one of each issue?
  8. There is a little fraying on the LLFC corner. On the BC there are 3 small "nicks" on the edge and a tiny crease on the binding edge. Not sure if the cover was replaced on this one or if this is how the giant size was done. Inside there is age related yellowing and some smudging(?). Only the first page has some nicks on the bottom edge. No other issues.
  9. Hello - grading opinions and should I have it slabbed? It is the red foil variant cover, inside is still like new. Spin is not cracked (afraid to open it too far) so don't think he ever read it.
  10. Sorry thought the jpg titles would post. Here are the issues. FC - LEFC corner wear, LLFC wear, REFC top creases, LRFC wear Inside - color age, bottom pg 6-7 folds, no center binding issue but bottom of pages 3 to left and 3 to right have small tear/holes, starting pg 6 thru last page top is an ink(?) stain maybe from original print, last page: top near bind crease, small stain & bottom right 2 small stains and a crease
  11. Just inherited a bunch of comic books and need to know which ones I should invest in and have slabbed. I looked this one up and it's a pretty penny if a high grade but I don't know how to judge the quality.
