Hi another Luke cage.
overall couldn’t see any spine ticks or cooour breaks on spine. Corners all look good.
only issue I can see on the front page, other than the grime with time, was the red colour bleed in the sky above the 5 chimneys and around left arm. Looks like colour bleed from inner page.
back page, again come colour bleeed around the canyon sky cycle and the drag car on the right.

Hi all,
any thoughts on this comic.
Some small colour break spine ticks (5-6 I think)
top right has a small fold
some colour loss bottom right
back page,
some foxing.
Also looks like colour bleed bottom right on the white box, you can see the red letters ‘causes’ which corresponded to circuses on the inner page.
Hope the above make sense in the pictures and thanks for your time.

Many thanks for the info on square bound. Did seem odd that someone would have randomly added staples.
happy the thread gets moved to an appropriate thread on the grading question.

Hi,
just found this in a flee market bundle. Looked okay on first check, but any thoughts on grade?
also, there are staples internally, which seems really weird. Spine looks like a glued spine. Any thoughts on this and how it will affect grade? Should they be removed or would this damage further?
any thoughts welcome

Hi, grateful for views on this comic.
Front cover there are some spine issues, but seem relatively minor - but a few of them. Chip out of the bottom (near the kid)
back the blue colour stain top left and a crease through aurora. Which looks like may have been attempt to press it out. But colour breaks.
also there is a weird change in the colour. Good example around GL right arm on front cover. The grey is dull and green of body is shiny - is this common at this age? Or a sign of restoration? Hopefully the picture shows the area well enough
