  1. I saw this over the weekend with the kids, thanks to this thread and we all loved it. Highly recommended.
  2. Very sad news indeed, my condolences to his family.
  3. when I was actively searching out newsies in the 2000's at Hudson newsstand at Grand Central & Penn Station, I left behind so many NM copies. I was strictly only grabbing NM/MT copies. I should've just grabbed everything.
  4. Although, I have four boys, none of them really gravitated to comic books. Three out of the four have read mostly trades and a couple of comics here and there. But, that doesn't stop me from giving them out to any of my friend's kids.
  5. My friend who works at Silvercup Studios in Long Island City in Queens, NY said that they will start filming again in January.
  6. I haven't seen any at my Walmart's in ages.
  7. Just finish watching the movie with only one of my four sons. One is away in college, the other two heard the movie sucked and weren't interested in going. There were some cringey moments that I can do without. You'll know when you see it. One word, "Bollywood". Overall, my son and I enjoyed it.
  8. If the Yankees are smart they hire Buck as a bench coach immediately. I think he's the perfect guy for Boone to lean on.
  9. I love going to movies with my kids. In fact, we're probably going this weekend to see The Marvels. I don't bring Mrs.Highgrade anymore because she usually falls asleep.
  10. Batman has always been my favorite DC character. I used to have all Neal Adams covers in CGC 9.2 to 9.6. Sold them wayyyy to early. He's the only modern DC that I still buy from time to time.
  11. Speaking of A-listers...this chart never made any sense to me. How did Wonder-man make the Super-Heavyweights? Spidey, should at least be considered a Heavyweight, anyone remember Spidey #33? And how the hell is Captain America in the same class as Daredevil and Moon Knight.
  12. In my humbled opinion, No. I always considered him a B-lister at best. Today, he's a rock star.
  13. I also don't think Iron man was a A-lister character back in those days.
  14. I wonder if this book will pick up some steam after The Marvels mid credit scene?
  15. This is not looking to good for the actors. Looks like the studio bigwigs are playing hardball.
  16. I also got one with an attachment. I just deleted it.
