  1. If you keep refreshing they're randomly ordered, but I'm 98% sure the three are white suit Elektra, Lady Sif (Thor's friend), and Silk (Spider-Man's friend).
  2. I ordered it too. $40 is what I was expecting, but thought it might end up being $50 due to being con-related, glad it's more reasonable.
  3. One thing I'm super-curious about with a 6" Joe line is if and how they do vehicles. I collected Joes as a pre-teen, and I think I loved the vehicles more than the figures. The problem with the 1:12 scale as compared to the 1:18 scale is that the vehicles end up being HUGE. Imagine a 1:12 scale USS Flagg--it's over 7 feet long now, but scaled up to 1:12 it'd be over 10 feet long! The same applies to the Black Series Star Wars 6" figures. They've mostly avoided the vehicles I loved to buy for 1:18 scale figures as a kid, but they did do one 1:12 scale TIE Fighter, and it was HUGE. Here are a few people standing next to one...those side panels look over half as tall as that woman behind it:
  4. I'm not doing the new Joe line, either, but I do want that weapons rack. I'll be using it for Shang-Chi, Iron Fist, Daredevil, Elektra, Bullseye, and Kingpin. I may use Snake Eyes as a random goon in Marvel displays for heroes to beat up on, not sure yet.
  5. Hasbro sent an email out to Hasbro Pulse members saying that we'll be able to buy stuff from the Pulse web site that non-members don't have access to until 4 PM on Saturday. Everyone is expecting Snake Eyes to be available then, but who knows aside from the educated guesses I outlined in previous posts, we'll see. It explicitly says that items for sale will be related to Transformers, Power Rangers, GI Joe, Ghostbusters, and Marvel. Pulse membership costs $50 with the only advertised perks being access to exclusives like this plus free shipping. I got it for free shortly after the Pulse web site opened a year ago by buying a figure from the site (I bought the Marvel Legends Archangel). They recently emailed us saying they're extending that first membership for free by six months, presumably so that we can get access to whatever they're making available on Saturday. There was only one other exclusive I saw for the entire last year, an SDCC exclusive Marvel Legends Hulk figure that sold out on the Pulse web site in about 10 minutes, which ticked off pretty much everybody who was a Pulse member who didn't get one. I didn't want one, but it ticked me off that they handled it so poorly. I'm hoping whatever they sell on Saturday is available for much longer, and if it isn't and it ends up being another sheet-show I'm definitely not paying $50 for it.
  6. The reason the news outlets are so sure is because the leaked photos are of finished product in a warehouse broken out of shipping boxes. Hasbro doesn't make and ship out product this far in advance for it to be something they wait for July to reveal and sell.
  7. I don't want to get into Joes because Marvel is enough, but I want that weapon rack, so I'm hoping to get that set this weekend.
  8. Marvelous News thinks he'll go on sale on the Hasbro Pulse web site during the New York Toy Fair on Saturday, so I don't think I know what you mean. The last time Hasbro put a con exclusive up on their web site for sale it sold out in about 10 minutes. I'm expecting a LOT of unhappy people who won't be getting the deluxe Snake Eyes this weekend, but we'll see, maybe they learned from the last fiasco.
  9. I assume you mean the New York Toy Fair...SDCC isn't for quite a while. Toy Fair is this Saturday. It's definitely known that this is a con exclusive because the shipping box they come in says that on it.
  10. Pictures just leaked of the first figure from the new Hasbro GI Joe line, Snake Eyes. The pics below are of a convention exclusive edition with a custom weapons rack. Official announcement should come Saturday at the New York Toy Fair. http://thefwoosh.com/2020/02/hasbro-g-i-joe-classified-series-snake-eyes-exclusive-package-and-loose/
  11. My gut agrees (thinking 35 range) but I'm actually liking the recent couple previews more so I'm going with a shocking 62 for the TM. I have no idea, I'm just saying that based upon the film's repetitive release delays. I've generally enjoyed all of the trailers from the past few years but I can't tell much from them. I'm hoping for the best but expecting the worst.
  12. Bale is usually the kind of actor who signs on because he likes directors. I'm somewhat surprised he's going to play a villain that will likely be a one-off, but maybe he just wants to work with Taika.
  13. If the Tomatometer on this is fresh I will be utterly shocked.
  14. As far as I've been able to tell people are basing the "Spidey friends and foes are in the MCU" idea upon something EXTREMELY vague that Feige said shortly after Sony and Marvel signed that new deal to keep Spidey in the MCU: That doesn't mean anything at all, yet I've read a few articles assuming it means Morbius, Venom, and the other Spidey rogues are in the MCU, but I can't find ANYTHING substantiating that assumption. If someone has seen anything more specific from Feige or anyone else at Marvel or Sony, please do share.
  15. I'll let you have it out with the OCD height people at celebheights.com, but off the cuff I'll say the guy who runs that site has done a lot more research into Gal Gadot's height than either of us, so I'll go with him until I see evidence to the contrary. https://www.celebheights.com/s/Gal-Gadot-47004.html
  16. Hollywood lists actors like the NBA started listing basketball players in the 1980s which is to say they exaggerate their heights by an inch or two, although coincidentally the NBA commissioner cracked down on that this summer and now 99% of NBA players are listed with their correct heights. Cavill in reality is 6' 0.5", and Affleck is 6' 2.5". Wonder Woman's height has changed over the decades but the most recent versions were supposedly 6' 0" while Gal Gadot is 5' 9". But finding 6 foot actresses with the acting and physicality of Diana is hard, so it's not surprising they didn't find one.
  17. Wait, multiple sources have now said "The Illuminerdi" pulled that report out of their butts and Lucas isn't involved. Which is exactly what I'd expect; the idea that he'd return to writing someone else's property is entirely inconsistent with his past behavior and attitude.
  18. Executive producer doesn't mean anything, but the possibility of him as a writer is interesting.
  19. If Krasinski at 6' 3" is too tall to play the 6' 1" Reed, then Hugh Jackman's casting must have blown out your eardrums.
  20. The only thing to know about Sam Raimi is that he made the second-best comic book film of all time and that gives him the bona fides to be given an MCU film. That, plus EVERYTHING wrong with Spider-Man 3 is squarely to blame on Avi Arad forcing Sam Raimi to use three villains in one film, something he openly and repeatedly warned him would cheapen the film and directly led to Raimi and Tobey Maguire both quitting the franchise.
  21. Oh my GOD, here's the more complete version of what Ratner had to say about Rotten Tomatoes. https://ew.com/movies/2017/03/23/ratner-tomatoes-scores/ Nobody can figure out exactly what it means? Does he mean the average person, or himself? Because I know HE knows what it means, so I assume he means most people--but what he said was "nobody" can figure it out, so he's clearly attempting to exaggerate and/or mislead. He's probably half-right about that, but it's fine. No, it's not an indicator of the relative quality of a film--that's what their "average rating" score is--but it is a broader general indication as to whether the average person is likely to enjoy a film. What films could he be alluding to that are great but had really abysmal Rotten Tomatoes scores, I wonder? I can't say I've EVER seen that. The Tomatometer is absolutely generally reflective of overall critical score, so I can't tell at all what he's trying to say, so I'm assuming he's just attempting to disinform.
  22. Translation: "I can't just squeeze out a turd on-screen anymore without getting called out for it, and that's just not good for my turds." Not that all of his films are bad, but a good number of them certainly are.
  23. Can't tell much. Felt by Super Bowl commercial standards. Felt that way about all three shows in the teaser, didn't turn me towards or against them.
  24. I was 13 when they came out and I cringed! Couldn't stand Power Rangers. Yea that's old enough to see the cheesy insane overacting. 8 or 9 probably isn't, but maybe it is for some kids.
