  1. Spidey looks like he's hiding from Spawn. I'm sure this is exactly how TM wanted it.
  2. It was originally a 6.0, but CFP made it what it is today.
  3. I looked at the pg1 link and see my image no longer exists, so here it is again. Purchased raw off the wall at the LCS for $120 in 1989, which was a very irresponsible thing to do at the time, but I'm over it .
  4. If the seller has more to sell, this is the best way for them to learn. Much like the recent thread concerning a new buyer; It isn't the buyer's job to educate the seller (aside from returning an item) any more than it's the seller's job to educate the buyer.
  5. The biggest difference between the two covers is Ditko's has a gun. Could this be Lee's reason? A gun doesn't appear on ASM until #26.
  6. The Web Pattern on his costume seems to be what JK had much of his trouble with.
  7. Well, Spidey's right leg does seem too small, and the way he's holding the bad guy is all wrong- Gravity would cause him to twist out and down. Spidey would need a painful grip digging in the guy's side as he squeezes him tight against his hip. Otherwise it's fine. This Spidey is more typical of Kirby.
  8. He is, but currently working on pieces to bring to the San Diego Comic Fest in a few weeks. @thethedew I assist Mike with setting up recreation commissions- Send me a PM if you're interested
  9. Fantastic Four #139 VF/NM 9.0 $26.00 Marvel Team-Up #7 VF 8.0 $13.00 Marvel Team-Up #14 VF/NM 9.0 $14.00 @ 20% off
  10. Several people are trying to teach Sellers aren't required to educate new buyers, and especially not with their inventory. It's the responsibility of the buyer to understand what they're buying- In this case, studying what is acceptable on 9.8s. Learning about collecting can get expensive, but it shouldn't be at the seller's expense.
  11. This formerly 6.5- CPR'd to a 7.5 arrived this morning.
  12. Thank you!! I'll have to look for that. I got the small "book" from the Museum a few years ago, along with this 2 1/2 Days In Hell.
  13. Just received this today- RMA did a CPR on this GSX1, formerly a CBCS 6.5! The ASM (was a generous CGC 8.0) was in real 'need' of a press, but a vertical edge crease allowed for only a one grade bump. Thanks again- They look SO much better!
  14. In case some are new to Lord of Light here's a link. And Heavy Metal ran an issue.
  15. Barry Ira Geller has had several Lord Of Light projects going for the last few years (nothing to do with Game of Thrones, of course), and they're slowly making their way to completion. He had no idea what he was getting into The pins were an afterthought, as the statues have been the main goal, and the 2 based directly from the Kirby/Royer art have gone through several changes. Here are the Pins. If Barry is okay with images of the models being shared (they're not released yet), I will,
  16. My FF Annual 3 is very well loved- One of my favorites!
