And, of course, since negative points don't exist, you would only have a finite number of panels to reveal. Example: Start out at 5 points, go to 4, 3, 2, 1. Now what? I was archiving unsolved books before, but it's way too much work to keep up and seems to confuse people.

I thought about that, but what usually happens is that people lose interest if they can't solve it right away. My thoughts are that a ramping point scale increases interest and the desire to solve it.
