  1. At first glance, the ComicLink Suscha 9.8 doesn't seem like it's any of the copies that MC posted. I was living in NYC when Metropolis introduced the collection and managed to cab over and snag a lot of Suschas. While most of the books I bought were slabbed, some were not. None of the raw Suschas were graded 9.8 by CGC. But I got at least a couple 9.6s.
  2. Continuing the Strange Tales theme with some long gone books:
  3. If you have an iPhone, iPad, or iPhone iPod touch: It's not easy to get the book completely squared up. So sometimes the book looks less rectangular than it is in reality. How to scan documents on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch Open Notes and select a note or create a new one. Tap the Camera button , then tap Scan Documents . 4. And that's all, folks. Please PM if you're interested in anything. I'll be back next month with a mixed age thread. I discovered that I can quickly get respectable scans of raw books with my iPhone. It's a huge time saver.

  7. Welcome back to the Boards, haven't seen you here in ages! Chris is Christi. If they were listed as Western Penns by her, then they were indeed Western Penns. Thanks, Tim! Though I never went anywhere. I spend most of my time here in the Bronze forum. Here are a couple some of the books I picked up from Christi. The Western Penn notation escaped the Avengers #83, unfortunately.
  8. Great thread, Tom. In the early 2000s, I bought a bunch of (supposed) Western Penn books on eBay from Chris Cole. Where does he or she fit into the Western Penn story? (I still don't know if Chris was a man or woman.)
  9. Do you get a card or license to prove that you're a TCBC or do you just walk around with a halo over your head?
