  1. I ever send you the picture of me on a large inflatable unicorn pool float, half passed out floating in a pool, in the middle of the Jones Beach parking lot? That was Jimmy Buffett I believe.
  2. I was lucky. I got some water that came up through the concrete floor of the furnished basement. Not fun but doable. It dampened the area and I have been drying it out since yesterday. For fun Long Island bad weather antics... This instagram account posted people's videos. Storms stink but there is something interesting about kayaking down main street in Northport. https://www.instagram.com/longislandwiseguy/
  3. Just sold a book tonight on the exchange using Clink. They take a smaller percentage than eBay because they only charge a percent of the sale of the book unlike eBay which takes a cut out of the book and shipping. Yes, you are responsible to ship it to comiclink so figure that into your cost. $7.96 using Pirate Bay for me. And the best part is... they review the book. If the buyer acts like a tool after CLink verifies that I sent in the book that was described then after that it is between the buyer and the Clink.
  4. Last Call ! 15% off remainder including crazy eddie deals. I want to start shipping orders out soon. (Make space for the next thing heh heh)
  5. No... no you can't. I learned that the hard way from security at the Museum of Natural History. (Kidding)
  6. @jsilverjanet A certain someone's advice just popped into my head again.
  7. Like I said to the Rally Road Cheerleading Squad. Some of you are either too tied into this financially or emotionally.
  8. You play where the money already is and where you can conceal your efforts.
  9. There is a difference between fishing and waiting for someone to buy it and my having Jay help me establish a fake sale to manipulate the market.
  10. I have no idea what any of this is about. Seems like more clutter that collects dust.
  11. We can find out the next time I stop by in Brooklyn.
  12. There are many of us that have laid out to him 'most' of the avenues of fraud that can be and are likely being taken with fractional ownership of 'collectables'. You are beating your head against the wall.
  13. @PeteFromPetesBasement I would say that I am humbled by this public adulation but to be honest it is warranted. Thank you my Shrimp Parm sandwich today.
  14. Great question. It attracts government attention eventually resulting in notice and regulation. When people were messing around with thousands... Now there are people messing around with millions... Someone, somewhere in the government is going to eventually take notice and say, 'what?'
  15. Did your parents beat you with a stick or anything when you were growing up? I mean I got the wooden spoon. Other people I know got the chancla.
  16. Somehow I am betting it is the same three. But this is what I ask the OA guys. Is your collection 'worth' what it is because of normal value increases that occur over time and demand... Or are you basing it on three rich guys trading inventory back and forth with no real money changing hands. That and I don't care if Kirby drew it. If all you see is a behind the scenes shot of Thor's leg and whatever he is looking at in the distance, I would pick a full page spash of Thor by an up and coming artist if it is drawn well. But but but... Kirby drew it... uh huh.
  17. Superman 188 Superman has a life questioning day as the alien god realizes that even though he may have great power he is often powerless. Decent read that I will not spoil the ending of. I was thumbing through it again. NM $2
