Got these back from CGC the other day. Newsstand #1-3 and Convention edition #60

I added it to Photobucket and Flickr awhile ago and wanted to avoid the chance that someone would report it stolen and use the number. I don't know if it would actually happen, but I didn't want to take the chance since I didn't know who would be looking at it.

Good luck someone clawing my #1 from me if some knucklehead decides to flag my CGC # as stolen.

 

For me it's easy to prove it's mine, but I can understand being security conscious when posting online. Sad that people would think of lying to CGC for the number to be flagged - makes my blood boil thinking about it.

I'm not saying anyone would, I just didn't want to take the chance they could.

I'm pretty sure their reputation is more valuable to them than that. Especially with as publicized as these books are. Part of the reason why I decided to show them now is so people would see I did this before the others were distributed, so there would be less of a chance of someone crying foul over the yellow labels.

I hope it's ok I consider you a friend, I am happy for you those are going to be a great addition to your already impressive collection. If I was able to get one, crossing fingers it's through my LCS, I would be perfectly happy with a green label.
