  1. Baker is likewise in a bubble phase, to the extent that his covers are extremely trendy right now. Prices have gone completely bananas over the last few months. Last year I had a slabbed universal Cinderella Love 27 in lower grade (1.5 or thereabouts, can't remember exactly) and I couldn't give the thing away. I sold it for about $100. A CL27 just sold on ebay with a missing centerfold for over $400. This is frenzy territory, likely propped up by a few buyers with deep pockets. You mentioned Frazetta. His Thunda 1 was one of the hottest books around a couple decades ago. While it has seen a recent bump with the hotness of GGA covers across the market it is still nowhere close to the value it once achieved. I love Baker's work and still own his books so I'm happy to see the prices being realized but there's no way this is sustainable. It's too much too quickly.
  2. Ebay would force the return anyway.
  3. I have a feeling that detail got overlooked, as it's not prominently mentioned and the app does bury the description.
  4. Most business seems to have moved over to group PM threads as well.
  5. If anyone is interested in a trade I am in the market for a lower midgrade Thunda 1 or a higher grade Hulk 180.
  6. And I'm this close to figuring out how to multi-quote.
  7. @architect Walking Dead 1 Speculation Sub-Forum, please.
  8. If I expend the resources to get a book signed then I want that signature in full view, right up front, in my face.
  9. Weird Science-Fantasy 29 CGC 2.5 SS signed by Al Feldstein. Frazetta classic cover. $450 shipped.
  10. First wins and immediately trumps all PM negotiations. Any variation of "takeit" counts. I prefer check but will accept Paypal, check, money order or cash. No Hall of Shamers or Probies. Payment expected in 72 hours unless we work it out ahead of time. US shipping is included. International shipping will need to be determined prior to sale. Three days' return shipping from receipt. Buyer is responsible for shipping cost back unless item was damaged in transit. Please do not edit takeits and please do not commit to buy unless you intend to follow through.

  12. That Frazetta lot is sweet. I would probably crack open those card packs.
  13. Did you check the last place you'll look? It's usually there.
