You are offered 1 choice at first. You don't know about the bonus offers at that point. Both of those choices are close to the same money wise.

If you choose choice A you get the bonus offer. You don't know about the Super Bonus offer yet.

If you still choose A then you get the super bonus offer.

    Actual values approximate in 3.0

    Choice A 18,000

    Choice B 18,000

    Choice B + Bonus 24,000

    Choice B + Bonus + Super Bonus 28,000

But its not just about current market prices its about future prospective value,  BUT most of all its about personal preference.

Your over thinking it and good luck with the Choice A @ 18K probably not going to happen that cheap.

Hi everybody. Seeking advice and thoughts.

    I have a ASM issues #1 -2.0, #2- 5.5, #3 - 6.5, #4 7.0, #5 - 7.5 , and #6 7.0. All CGC graded.

I also have a ungraded AF 15 that is pretty bad but complete with a lot of tape on it. I'm gonna submit and I think it will come back a .5.

I did the research and If I sold them all I should get at least 20K for that bunch. ( I won't go over 20K no matter what because of tax reasons and I couldn't sell until 2020).

I'm on the fence decision wise.

My options: A - sell them all and get a nice looking AF 15 3.0

B - Keep issues 2 through 6  as they are and sell the AF 15 .5 and the ASM 1 2.0 then use those proceeds to get a ASM 5.0 or possibly a 6.0. Then I would have a nice ASM 1 through 6 run but no AF 15.

What's your opinion? We'd like to know. Thanks

    AF 15

Not very different than yours - I just cant get me to find issues after 400 interesting in any ways. I initially decided to go for 1-300, but realised soon that I got attracted to loads in the 300-400. From the McFarlanes, to some of the stories and even a few of the gimmicks with the shiny covers and stuff that are just a cool part of the history. End of course the death of aunt May. But post-400... yawn. However knowing me, I will probably go for them at the end just to have it complete. Fortunately they are really easy and cheap to find, even as lots

Good luck finding number 2 and 3, they are amazing books and at the moment - in my opinion - #2 is undervalued.

How often do you find those with AF 15 + ASM 1 - current 810 (or whatever). I am curious how hard / rare etc it is to accomplish such a feat.

SLab this bad boy. Cooler in the slab and better protection. High value book. Preserve it. In fact I would slab everything in that picture you have. Nice books

This is where it was originally purchased! (Stamped)

In 2008 I could have bought blue label cgc 4.0 AF15 for 4K Canadian at my local shop . Let’s see where this book is in 2024 lmao. I bet GPA won’t f’in matter because this will continue to climb.

I just thought it was odd that the supply was low on ebay since I last looked. I also don't think that it is an issue of people not wanting to sell because prices are dropping, if that were the case then a lot of books would not be listed in general. If someone wants to sell (is motivated) they will regardless of the supply in most cases. I was wondering myself if the low supply could indicate price increases or a building up of demand.

well, jeez, first I was told that just when school was starting was a terrible time to sell and then I was told that christmas was a terrible time to sell with attention elsewhere and then I was told that Tax time was a terrible time to sell because of taxes and now I'm told it's a terrible time to sell because it's pre holiday.

We listed my AF15 5.0 for a handsome price on Aug 5th. Fifty five days later it was sold.  It wasn't the first of Bob's AF 15' books to go at that time.

At one point I posited that if I had a  piece of art at the flea market and no one knew what it was, I couldn't sell a 30K piece of art  for 200 dollars. I continue to think that was true at the time. The problem was that it was being sold in the wrong venue

I have almost 20 years of selling experience to back those statements up, Bub!

  10. People are selling because of the high prices but I know for a fact this is a terrible time to sell books. People are getting into the holiday mode and they are not really buying things like comics. Prices will comes down for a while then stabilize for a while, when this happens many people will pull their book off the market and the supply will dry back up a bit. The longer the books are up for sale the more likely they will sell over time.

  11. This is interesting, I hope they include the breaking down of all of these. I was thinking the spiderman (Todd) went up to 98 that was part of the spiderman 200 and something issues for this thing. Who knows. I don't remember if I have Spectacular Spiderman V2 or not. I decided this morning that I will grab my boxes and reorganize all of the reboots in chronological order now it is making sense of things again. It will be much easier to organize these that way as opposed to how I had them previously.
