  1. Hey Jerry No. They haven't come in the mail yet. I did get a 0-7 run and preordered 8-10. I have some goodies coming with this series and giving the MASSIVE a shot. Keep you posted. (Thumbs u
  2. I don't want to burst your 'thought bubble' but you realize this will come back from CGC as a green label, qualified book (no disrespect intended Mr. Hog, just FYI).
  3. I just sent back my Midtown Little Pony 9.8 because it arrived damaged from CGC and the reholder fee was $12. Plus shipping both ways. That's what I get for playing the ponies! Passed on the ponies. Still waiting for strawberry shortcake or teddy ruxpin before I go all in.
  4. your posts have no variants. Punked....
  5. So hard to call.... It may/may not 'blow up' like the other. I was comparing the kinetic potential, not necessarily the same price commanded for the other titles.
  6. I have been on a roll lately with predictions (disclaimer: no expert claims here).... Once the first arc is through and the trade comes out, things will change. PP was doing well and then overnight it was doing very well. Saga was doing well (I sold a 9.8 two month ago for $80 - 10 sold on the boards for $60), and then overnight it was doing very well. I may be wrong, but Bedlam is an awesome read (poor kitty).
  7. Yes it is. Thinking about it, I have exchanged words with: Tim Seeley (revival) Mike Norton (revival) Matt Kindt (mind mgmt) Matt Hawkins (think tank) Rahsan Ekedal (think tank) Jonathan Hickman (east of west, manhattan projects, more) Eric Stephenson (NWM - boards) Nick Spencer (bedlam - boards) Fonographics (NWM -boards) Sent Fiona Staples (saga), Mark Millar (jupiters legacy), and Neil Gaiman (sandman) messages but am believing they got lost in the noise of the twitter-verse. (Thumbs u
  8. Scratches are a part of the process. You can always reholder for $10
  9. Most the issues are actually pretty rare and have low print runs. Issue 4, 6 and 7 are pretty much less than 2k as well since they dont show up on comichron numbers. Right now Ebay is flooded with #1s. I'm holding on to my sets once the movie is further along. issue 1= 7,537 Issue 2= 5,566 Issue 3= 5,579 Issue 4= no data on cc Issue 5= 5,017 Issue 6= no data on cc Issue 7= no data on cc Issue 0= 5,526 (Thumbs u
  10. Blackacre, mind the gap, skullkickers, hardcore.... More?
  11. I'd buy a few to give away (can't go wrong for a buck)...
  12. I'm not an expert (unlike some), but if you chase hype every week you'll be broke before the end of the month. Chase quality and buy something cool on occasion. I bought THE MASSIVE 1-8 today for $20 shipped, not because I think I can sell it at 10x cover, but because I wanted to check it out. afternoon rant R
  13. You can buy a run to read. Read it. Like it. Buy more if you think it has potential. But I would be warry of slabbing something I didn't at least read (it could blow). My Oh, and Bedlam is a m a z i n g (hats off to Madder Red)
  14. You never know... It comes down to a question of quality (writing/art) and whether you believe in the title or not - "Would I want this as a part of MY collection?" is the question.
  15. The usual that requires your gentle touch...
  16. Missed you Andy... We needed you this week!
  17. I have one of those in the plastic (I think)
