  1. I know right. They are also talking about 'The Massive' on that thread. We were just talking about this book and now I'm going to have to buy it.
  2. Thanks, Jerry. The way Dhurley described it sounded awesome and I've had some good reads result from recommendations (YTLM, Sandman).
  3. I'm excited too... Pre-ordered 500. Pot meet kettle
  4. No, but I've wondered how these keep 'popping' up since they are limited. I think I've seen them up on three separate occasions on eBay. Not 'rumor-mongering' but it is interesting. Mine is number 91.
  5. Just think it's just as preachy as it is well intended. I don't expect a guy who buys 100's of Bedlam's to think that rationally. Point taking. I shall strive to be less logical my friend (no sarcasm intended - don't want to get into a debate with my Boardie friends )
  6. Asking for humbleness is overboard?
  7. Yep. She said she hated to have to redraw errors. Digital allows for a quick fix and move on.
  8. "I forgot to shake hands and be friendly. It was an important lesson about leadership." - Lee Iacocca
  9. If you are that guy now, remember what it was like then. It is not a personal attack. In the real world people don't walk around boasting about their bank-rolls. My commentary is on your approach. I think "Lee" would agree.
  10. "When I was in high school there was this guy that wore all the high end label cloths. Drove a high end car. Always flashing his money around. I wonder what happened to that guy??" No one has a problem with how you make your riches viper. It's your approach to this forum and how you claim to be the expert. I equate it to showing up first day on the job and trying to be the CEO. Humble confidence goes a long way...
  11. Listed as 2/20. I took your advice and jumped on the train. We'll see my friend...
  12. +1 +2 Hey J - Got my Revival #4 in the mail today.... Thank you my friend (kudos coming).
  13. I haven't had a dream about me and The Stalk..... But it's coming
  14. Not exactly true. Depends on how you filter them onto the market. For example I will sell some #1's from the go. Than I will add a book with each new issue release. Get some slabbed, trade some etc etc etc Now if I were buying 1,000 of each issue than one would have a much more difficult task in liquidating. All this is made easier with the initial cost being what it is. Sign me up for some Amway
  15. Yes it did Bought one copy.... Didn't even read it.
  16. I will be ordering 250 of #1 and 150 of #2, #3 and #4 . Total investment is approx $1400 for 700 books. If it flops I still have wiggle room with selling sets, IF it soars I will be positioned nicely. One doesn't need to have a large store when there is e-bay to sell to collectors/Investors/speculators/other dealers etc around the world. Good luck!
  17. Got one (before you snatched it out from under me)....
  18. No offense, but I don't think people new to comics are looking for the Saga RPP variant. Or any variants, for that matter. -e.s. Eric Stephenson Publisher Image Comics, Inc. www.imagecomics.com Well said e.s. I dig limited variants, but can't afford to drop $100 ($1000 for saga) on one issue. I'm content knowing I'll never have a complete set.
  19. Yeah, it's the ink. You don't notice so much when paper is gloss coated, but in contrast to the matte stock we're using, you appreciate how reflective the ink itself actually is. A neat thing about this paper is if you look very, very closely with the book tilted towards the light, you can just about make out the raised edges of the ink lying on the surface. Thank you fono for that very cool insider info. You guys make our day when you pop in to chat. Thanks a bunch..... Ryan
  20. If you like orange, though, you'll want to check out the CBLDF booth at Wizard World Portland or the Emerald City Comicon in Seattle... -e.s. Eric Stephenson Publisher Image Comics, Inc. www.imagecomics.com I'm grounded for the next 14 years (kids). One can continue to wish... Oranges are my favorite fruit though
