  1. We should have an OA contest here. Prize is Revival cover.

In order to enter, your username must have 6 vowels and 7 consonants. It must resemble a breakfast item cooked in a specific way.

Looks like I'm in the running! How crazy!?

This is what a desperate attempt at getting Revival OA looks like

  2. Oh, and the Dinner is to celebrate a Made up story at work .SHHHHH

    :roflmao:

Dude don't worry about what ANYONE in here says. You paid what you wanted to pay, who knows, in 5 years you might be able to sell that for triple. Who knows.

  3. I like the WD story and i'm all in for where it goes from here.

I think the book peaked the first 50 issues but it was still enjoyable. I've never stayed with a run like this so I can't bash it. I've always been a superhero guy and those stories were mostly formula. Not one continuous story.

Negan i'm not overly impressed with but I have to believe there is much much more to this situation they are in now. The twists are coming I feel.

I agree with you a 100% everything you just said sits true for me. Yes I am new to reading long term comics, I have read some in the past and have read some graphic novels here and there but never a full run comic story. I love the story and Rob gets me every time. Just when I think something is gonna happen I get thrown for a loop. Negan is not my favorite, he's grown on me very little though. I will always root for Rick he fuc*king kicks as*......And now I'm rooting for Carl. Something big is about to happen.

If there's some boardie award ceremony you need to win the award for most enthusiastic. I love talking to you about this stuff, YOU end up getting me more hyped up then I was lol!

  4. Here's a chance to get some Revival original art by Tim and Steve Seeley...

Pledge $90 or more (3 of 5 left)

TRIUMPHANT RULER OF THE TRI-STATE: Get all six issues along with volume one of REVIVAL and, ta da!, an original (4"x6") Revival mini-painting, sketched by Tim Seeley and painted by Steve Seeley (www.thedelicatematter.com).

Just got the last one woop whoop!

  5. As a rule, I usually only do only 2 or 3, unless its a big name but then I will only go up to 5. Most of the time I get the high end hardcovers signed too (Absolute editions, Omnibuses, etc..). These are always for my personal collection anyway. I have seen some people pull out like 25-30 books and could tell that the artist wanted to kill him.

To me, when you bring 30 books up to an artist, you're basically telling them to their face that you're flipping them for quick cash. I doubt they like that.

  6. Oh, and if that's someone on the boards here I talk to I still love you. Just get behind me :D

I'd bet you'd love some of these people to get behind you. :baiting:lol

    EDIT: I'm drunk

    Bwahahaha where are you?

Just got home from happy hour or happy 4 hours.

Come to Renaissance fest with us tomorrow were doing the pub crawl inside it.

  7. I don't think that guy has enough comics to get signed...

Just want an opinion from you all and perhaps start some drama which I'm yearning for. But how much is too much when it comes to a single person with x amount of comics to get signed? 10? 50? 200? When is it at the point of being rude? Rude to the people behind you and rude to the signer? If I was 5 people back in line but someone had 50 books to have signed, that's taking up a good amount of time for everyone behind you. While i could have had my books signed in 3 minutes is now a 15 minutes and 12 minutes I'm losing out on cause of your greediness.

I dunno, its just my opinion but I find it wildly tacky having anything more than 5-10. Hell, when I was getting ebas to sign stuff I was nervous asking for 3. Seems like some people have no qualms having 30 books signed...to each his own I guess...I say if you have a certain number of books, you go to the back of the line and wait so you're not taking up everyone else's time.

Oh, and if that's someone on the boards here I talk to I still love you. Just get behind me :D

  8. In my man hallway (I have to work up to a cave).

    I don't even have a hallway :sorry:

My Revival #5 cover art is all pretty and framed and stuck in my closet. Wife said it's not 'living room' friendly. I disagree.

Ask her if your fist is living room friendly.

Edit: domestic violence humor is funny
