  1. No "modern reader" has any desire to complete a run - that's a history of long ago.
  2. Two years ago, you would have said exactly the opposite . . . please don't make me do the work though.
  3. Yes, of course, but no. My multiple Spawn runs stop just before #100, when I think many a collector abandoned ship on the title. Those are still producing some nice change for me
  4. ** Change title of thread to "Spawn heating up on FeeBay" **
  5. Here are some better pics of Icon 1 (Collector's Edition) and its contents:
  6. You need to start the "speculation argument" that Summer Special #1 is a lot like Giant-Size X-Men #1 while the regular #1 is more like Wolverine #1. Absolutely, and a superior issue by all accounts! It also reprints the first Usagi Yojimbo story published and done by Stan Sakai from Albedo #2 (November 1984) and the Usagi Yojimbo story from Albedo #3 - It's huge!!! Never mind the killer wraparound cover:
  7. I happened to have two OO copies of this issue off the rack, but they weren't quite as nice as that!
  8. In all sincerity , no one really cares about these . . . except those that do. So if you can find a buyer, by all means SELL!!!
  9. That's because there is absolutely no incentive for those that have high grade copies to slab them . . .
  10. So which one do you need? #24 or #25? I can't tell . . . I may have one for you.
  11. I was so ready to hit the BIN, but he doesn't ship to Canada.... You guys had me running to the garage there . . .
  12. Yep, these look like two guys I'd bet the house on . . .
  13. Yes. If you actually had any experience in that area you would know that more often than not, the dealer is more informed than you are. As to contributions, what do you call your recent infatuation with me?
  14. I brought one to a local one-day con about a year or so ago. The dealer who I showed it to held it like it was a dead rat, until I convinced him to look it up on ebay. It took a while, but he finally condescended to give me the $40, or whatever it was at the time, in trade. I hope you learned your lesson from that . . . never ever take "in trade" from a dealer.
  15. it was a nothing book before any movie rumors I am aware of that silly, but Kirby Eternals #1 a stack of OO HG copies at 6 Bucks a pop - pass me the Lithium. The whole concept of collecting is never about the current perceived value.
