  1. Awesome! We need more books like this with weak "1st cameo appearances" to pop thanks to COVID stimulus cheques and no conventions. I didn't even know that was A book . . .
  2. I enjoyed MoKF too. It was one of those titles like Doctor Strange that had a lot of quality artists working on it through the series. For MoKF, Gulacy like Bats mentioned and I thought Day and Zeck were great on the series. The pairing of Zeck and Day I thought worked very well and then when Day took over, it didn't lose a beat. Some quality writing in the series as well. I will say with Gulacy, he was teamed with several inkers throughout his run; some I thought were better suited to his pencils A great read start to finish IMHO
  3. Let's try to be a little more specific and provide examples, otherwise you're just blown' in the wind.
  4. First rendering perhaps, but not a first appearance.

  6. 1st Allred on title; 1st new team - start of new run. Always a pick-up when you see it in the wild.
  7. Douglas Adams said it's 42%. No, it's whatever the buyer is willing to pay . . . and whatever the seller is willing to accept. Douglas Adams said you probably don't know where your towel is. Doug Adams always made it up as he went . . .

  9. Wel, I guess we can completely disagree to completely disagree then . . .
  10. Lest we forget that this IS the Copper forum. I think the data (across the board) will eventually reflect that newsies from 1986 through 1992 will be the hardest to find in HG. Although you had to go to the big-box book stores for newsies post 1992, they sold quite a few of them. Before 1992 you probably had to actually buy them at real newsstands (including drugstores and 7-11's).
  11. The numbers are interesting at best, but highly conditional . . . whether they support anyone's thoughts (or otherwise)
  12. The reading comprehension around here is stifling . . .
  13. Can't keep up with the sales of late . . . books moving swiftly!
  14. this is what I do...scroll through the listings quickly and if a bunch of yellow pops up I stop and see what issue it is. Ok, yellow it is!
  15. Yep, weird - there are not many Godzillas with actual "White" pages.
