If anyone in Scotland are still looking for Batman #13, the Forbidden Planet in Edinburgh still has loads including 2x copies of the combo variant. I managed the snagg the last sketch variant they had, and no, don't ask them for Batgirl

I managed to pick up 4x copies of Batman #13 but no Batgirls! On a brighter note I did pick up a Bedlam b&w NYCC variant on eBay for a buy it now price of only £20, it was just listed when I spotted it! Guess they didn't check what it has been going for, lucky me!

I went out to the local store on Wednesday, and got a copy of Batman #13, and god help me, I opened it and read it! What was I thinking!

I've now come to my senses and will go back out today to see if there is any left. I really doubt it! Worst thing is, they had 2x of the Joker variants and a stack of Batgirls. Bah!

 

I thought about starting a thread over this, but I think it will be better used bumping my favorite thread in Comics General!

There's a lengthier video in a limited edition of one of his movies (i think it's in Cronos), but this was the only one I could find in youtube.

I think we would all like to have a comic room or house like Del Toros! Man thats some collection. He aint kidding about his collection of 1st edition horror books, I sold him a book on ebay, 'The History of the Devil', from 1813! I could tell you his ebay user name, but then I would have to kill you!

You know what would be great? Printing it in colour, just once. A nice big zombie fight. C'mon Kirkman. I know you print in in b&w to save the printers money but a colour variant maybe? I thought it might happen for issue #100 or when I heard the Walking Dead Weekly was coming out I thought, magic, this ones gonna be in colour! How wrong was I? Still love the comic thou,

Good start. I love the Ditko issues of Amazing Adult Fantasy. If you are looking for silver age I sometimes set up at Glasgow comic mart and have around 10,000 silver and bronze with multiples of key issues.

Well I'll be doing a before & after pics of the room once i'm in. its gonna take me a while to get to the level of what you have there but I've made a start. just got TTA #35 in high grade & Amazing Adult Fantasy #14. looking forward to building up a good collection. Reading these boards & seeing everyones pics just fans the flames for me!

cheers, I have only a couple of slabbed Hellboy stuff so far, and nearly all of the other stuff raw. like Dime Press, San D. Comic Con etc. still trying to find that fanzine 1st app. but it will be mine, oh yes, it will be mine!

I'm not a fan of tat's but i saw this one in the paper today and i thought it was very creative.

I got this puppy when I spilt with the girlfriend. She hated tattoos, had a borderline respect for comics & didn't like Hellboy much. my new girlfriend thinks it rocks.

anyone else got any comic book related tattoos? I got mine on my leg, hurt like a son of a beech but worth it. could have got a nice slabbed comic for the cost of it.

My girlfriend and myself where out at Ikea today looking at these. I move into my new house in Dunfermline ( Fife, Scotland) in a few months and will be kitting the Study or comic room out with these puppies! Thanks for the idea!
