Question, is there a schedule somewhere as to when the next issues will be released?
Issues #1-4 were released monthly starting August and the TPB is scheduled for release next Wednesday but I can't find any info on issue #5. And yes, I'm suffering withdrawal symptoms.
Same I feel like the fist four came out quickly. It's been a while now since the last issue came out. The story is confusing enough, I don't want to wait that long to read the next one!

Oh man the new IDW Gi Joe series is not what I expected. Not a fan, anyone else read it? Sticking to the old Marvel/IDW series.

All Star 58 1st Power Girl.

Mine came perfect minty fresh.
If you didn't have to ask for replacements, you are the 1st.
Congrats!
I was worried when I saw the packaging and opened it expecting some defect. I got lucky I guess. Cool covers too. Anyone know the print run? Is it a standard 3000 print run?

Voltron 1 9.8 is a 100.00 book
This book HAS to be the biggest drek of the 80s. Probably bigger than team america
Really? Voltron had some decent popularity.
I see somebody has a real nice one for sale on the boards right now too.
Voltron was a TV show kids ran home after school to see n the 80s. A related comic is no drek!
Team America on the other hand...
I've never seen this in any comic shop let alone dollar bin.

This one is probably going to be tough to find. There are only 500? There have to be over 500 die hard Saga fans. I bet they won't pop up for reasonable price unless someone needs cash bad!

Is this heating up because of it being a rare Adam Hughes cover or the Red Sonja TV rumors? Or both

Daken Dark Wolverine 1 Variant is my pick to bust out next.
I sold my X-23 variant to a boardie I thought it was a flash in the pan. Overtime I grow to appreciate Dell'Otto more and more.

They look good but it's so hard to tell with the crop ! The picture looks better on the 24 almost has the entire spine. Looks clean

UltraMaximus you got me into reading and collecting TF again. I've read everything from the begining until a few issues after Dark Cybertron. I've been buying variants when I see them. I have all AHM variants, 95% of Spotlights and a few other series variants. It's kind of addicting. I've stopped chasing other things and focused on TF! I feel like it's a good investment. They are still relavent to kids and international. If IDW keeps up with the great stories, which they have been.

Why would anyone be a sucker? There's something very intimate about someone's signature of their name. My mom just passed away in March, and every time I come across her writing on something, especially her signature, her life feels a little more real to me again. There's just something about her writing. It's just so...personal. It's clear evidence of her existence, very specific to her movements and thoughts when she was alive.
These artists hold a lot of meaning to fans. Having a copy of their (mass-produced) book is special in itself for the art that it is. But having their personal sig and/or sketch is something altogether different and again....personal....to add to one's collection.
(thumbs u
Agree how is something signed by the artist/writer take away value from a mass produced piece of paper! To each his own......

Anyone want to trade a 9.8 for a 9.6 and something else? I was pretty disappointed when mine came back a 9.6. Seems like some of you guys are sitting on a few copies.

I recently saw a few sales of these and went and pulled out my stash. These seem to be climbing in price.

As far as I have seen the final issue of the "Death of Snake-eyes" trilogy is shipping around May 20 2015.
I have never been one to follow hype but I want to make sure I do not miss out because I see myself wanting one sooner or later. I pre-ordered a copy. I was hoping some of the other Joe fans here could fill me in whether they think its going to sell out.
What I mean is , am I safe, or is my order going to get bumped. I do not have regular monthly pull list with any comic shops so I realize I would probably be the first to get left out in the cold with this one.
What's the demand going to be on this one? High , low , somewhere in the middle? I am just looking for a reading copy.
Personally I think somewhere in the middle. Everyone knows it's coming so they will have time to preorder unlike TMNT 44. Most will go for the 1:10 so lots of regular copies will be out there. It should sell out and within a month or two the regular covers will be around $5-10 I hate to be a pessimist and burst everyone's flipping but the regular series Snake Eyes will be around still. Just the ARAH series SE will 'die".

This title is an acquired taste, you either have love for it or have pretty much ignored it! haha
I know readership is low, but does anyone have any slabs to share? Any raws that are RI or RE covers, or cool one off sketch covers even?
I pick up a RI whenever I come across one. I'll check which ones I have.
So I got the app scribd. They offer a free month and have TONS of titles. I'm reading transformers and turtles after.
I'm using this site as a reading guide.

Great news! Top five read for me.

I would love to read from the beginning. Just need some tpb's
If going the TPB Route, and want to jump to right now,
the following TPB's will help align you well enough to follow the 2 current ongoings which are at issue 39 this month. (Concurrent with most new 52 titles, and probably how these went under radar for so many) .
Anyway, follow these:
All Hail Megatron Vol 1 and 2
For All Mankind (2009 ongoing series vol 1)
Last Stand of the Wreckers Hardcover (Has some text prose stories)
Chaos Theory
More than Meets the Eye Vol 1 and on
Robots in Disguise Vol 1 and on
I would have used a spoiler tag, but there had to be enough to entice to read. Plus the news is 10 months old.
If wanting to see how IDW started, here you go. These are their first ongoing (kinda) stories. They did the many mini-series thing for a while. But here are the door openers.
Infiltration (#0-6) and Stormbringer (#1-4)
These are incentive covers mostly the 1:100 for infiltration, Stormbringer Sketch Covers.
So the early IDW stuff has nothing to do with the current stuff?
I'll start looking on the Bay. Thanks

I was just digging through my WD back issues and saw I had a WD 1 Portland 2nd print. I went to go check it up on the Bay and there were none for sale. The finished ones had in the title 2nd rarest WD issue. Is that true?! One of the finished sales said limited to 250.
Skybound did not release print run information on this run IIRC............
How did you get your copy?
I got mine from a buddy. I'm pretty sure he got it from the show. Sounds like they were mailed out though. I will ask him, he still has another one. It's beat up though,VF at best.

One of my favorite titles out right now. Not sure why it never caught on with fans? Kirkman's name alone should bring thousands of fans. I was hesitant to jump on because of the art. I've grown to love it over the years.
