My crazy world and thoughts of comics and comic wish hit list as well as WTF was I thinking!
So I got back into comics as a way to motivate my son into reading. I figured what the hell. He likes Batman and all the super heroes in tights and I have some knowledge into these character because I used to collect as a kid and this would be something that we can do together. Long story short, Minecraft and video games won and I have been flying solo. I am still fighting the good fight!

So as I started getting back into collecting naturally I had to ask about the comics I used to collect when I was a child and then ask for the updates, the real skinny. I was a HUGE Spawn collector and Image guy. I also liked X-Men, Spider-Man, Sandman, Batman, and Valiant.

    The market is killing me.
I am affraid I am going to have to enter a comic book rehab with a 12 step program and I am sure my wallet will be happy that I do. I went into my basement and there were comics all over the damn place and a ton of them I have never even read. I am so far behind on reading my comics its pathetic. I also saw all the muliple copies of "X issue" that I thought I could flip to buy keys and other stuff. I said I would do this before but there are so many good books that Image and others have coming out. I am a impulsive buyer. Heck my LCS just tosses things in my box that I might be interested in and I buy it. Just when I think I will go through with it I read the SDCC announcments of all the books coming out. How in the heck and I going to turn down Remender, Ellis, Vaughn, Lemire books? Buying these modern books is slowing me down from finishing my wish list as well. Not looking good for the home team.
