Thanks to Kris for getting Stephen Lang (the villain from the most recent Conan movie) for me, and Adonis for getting Earl Norem (the cover artist), and most recently added was Jason Momoa (Conan) - Thanks to Anthony for getting him I'm pretty happy with this book now! I don't think I'll crack it again.

 

Scan doesn't do it the slightest bit of justice! Stunning book in hand.

I wasn't really sure what to expect and knew very little about it, but by the time I reached that end scene, I wished I had given in to the urge I had to turn it off half-way through.

Thanks you guys. I scored a 9.2 from a fellow boardie and its in pretty good shape. Just thought I'd asked. ZC the 33a cover had the same date as the 33b cover so If it came out 3 weeks later then it must of made it to the shelves before 1/07. I'm going to ask Rob if and when I ever meet him!

The release date (27/12) is listed on the Image website here but I wouldn't know if that is actually what happened. Maybe we should just all write into Letter Hacks about it Just find a way to insult RK someway while asking and it might get answered.

Sure wish some boardies would help me with the whole 33 question I asked. Sweet blank by the way.

I do remember the print run question for #33b coming up before, as I was interested myself, but as far as I know there was no specific answer. I've looked around in the past and never found info beyond that it came out 3 weeks later on 27/12/06. I guess we just assume its lower due to the apparent scarcity of them. I have been trying to get a 9.8 for over a year and never had any luck

Not sure if this has been posted yet in here, but this is (according to the Image website) the #109 blank. I like it. It's nice to have proper space on the front cover for the first time... even if I wish the title was a bit smaller.

It's the going rate now BIN. I've seen two go this month on eBay and another two privately for that price. It took me 5 months of being patient to pick one up for the price I wanted in an auction.

Damn you Greg Nicotero. He just cancelled for being at the Horrorhound Cincinnati this weekend. Thought his sig would have looked bad on a WD #69 cover.

 

I am guessing at least 2 other WD cast members will end up not making it by the time the show starts, never fails.

That is definitely a shame, I was looking forward to getting his sig on my cast book too

Fantastic experience buying from Jason... we worked out shipping to me in the UK and the slabs arrived super fast and exactly as described. An awesome guy to deal with and I couldn't recommend him enough, especially to other non-USA boardies.

What is everyones favorite cover? (if it's not #1 )

From TM it's #4. I just love the perspective of the drawing, and from CA it's #33, which is so iconic looking to me and one of the first covers that I remember piqued my interest in the book.

Guessing Carl is pretty much screwed

I thought the issue was freaking amazing, and really love the direction the book is headed. Love Negan. His dialogue to Carl was awesome. "Look it kid, you scare the bleep out of me" is classic!!!

Love the cover and I'm liking how this arc is building up... I have no solid theory about where its ultimately headed.

That's a good question. I know most people were putting 10k or best offers, so this is the first I've seen go straight auction. If I'm not mistaken, the last two were 7k and 7.5k, both boardie sales

I'm almost certain the BIN was $13k when I first saw the listing.

So last night i went to Universal Studios Hollywood Horror Nights and I did the Walking Dead tram ride and maze and I must say the maze was legit but the tram could have been better.

 

Idk maybe I just have high standards for it or something because I compare it to the SDCC obstacle course i did and that thing was beyond amazing.

 

nevertheless, it was still awesome

What were the wait times like? I have been in the past and used the express pass but a friend was telling me recently she and her friends waited over 2 hours to get through TWD maze and onto the tram... they have always been fantastic so I was gutted I couldn't go this year.
