Let me chime in and say the Epic Illustrated magazine rocks. I have the entire run and I would never sell them.
-
I see that I'm not the only one who own Lost Girls!
-
I keep a listing of all my books (not comics or magazines) on a website called LibraryThing. You can see what books I have by looking there:
-
Yes I have.
-
These are the bookshelves in my office. Books/graphic novels/hentai/mange on the left shelf; comics, comic magazines, and part of my DVD collection on the right shelf.
-
I ended up buying pages 5 and 6 of The Man Who Loved Breasts. These pages actually face each other in the comic, which is why I bought them as a set.

Damn crackers!
-
Outer wells maybe, inner wells are sealed in pretty tight.
Cracked another - an FF - last night.
Neither the innner well nor the outer holder are airtight for the sole purpose of allowing offgassing to occur.
That was I had thought too but you said it better.

To me, unless you intend to actually read the slabbed copy, there is no point in cracking it. It certainly is as well protected as it would be in anything else that I know of.
Though the plastic of the slab does tend to grey cover whites -- so if you enjoy the appearance of a book, it will look much better in mylar.
If you're keeping the book, it needs to breathe. I don't think slabs have been around long enough to assess long term damage to the books inside, but I have my suspicions.
I was under the impression that slabs aren't air tight.

I just received and scanned my second Conan daily today and it's even nicer than the first one...check it out:
I really like Ernie Chan's artwork. And I still miss Alfredo Alcala.

Kudos to FlyingDonut (Dan) for helping me find some more sealed copies of Howard Chaykin's Black Kiss. He shipped them quickly and securely.
Thanks buddy! (thumbs u

I just purchased page 5 of "The Man Who Loved Breasts" from Robert Goodin. This comic was just published by Top Shelf Comix. I don't have the artwork yet but here is what that page looks like:
-
Who did the cover to Beware 5? That is awesome.
-
Ah, so they have! I rarely look at the Marvel and DC portions of Previews nowadays, so sometimes I miss things.
-
House of Mystery was so cool. DC ought to bring it back.

Just turned 41 in September!

I've restarted work on my Black Kiss collection this week. I already own NM copies for reading and the Eros trade paperback that collects the entire series; now I am buying copies still sealed in the original polybags. Here is a photo of everything I have right now:
My readers are in Mylar on the lower right, and the trade paper is next to that. Sealed copies of issues 1 through 6 are on the top row and issue 7 through 10 are on the bottom row.
Now I just need to find some of the Black Kiss posters Vortex issued.

What a great, inspiring thread! Nice work everyone.

I'll be 40 this year. I can't believe I've lived this long.

Kudos to Pirate for my X-Men 125,128,131 and 129.
