Did anyone else see the post where someone one the board sold his Wolverine collection on the board for $2000 and the Campbell Wolverine 1 was included. Anastasia Comics bought it. Considering all the other books in the collection I think they got it at a steal.

Those Danger Girl GI Joe pinup covers are nice too but maybe not as much appeal since it is not a Marvel book..

Yea Wolvie #1 because it's all black aka HTF in nice grade and 'everyone' loves Wolverine and Deadpool. Hard to beat that.
I'd put Siege 3 in at 2nd place 10 years from now because every guy would love to have two hotties glued to his arms bein' all gangsta' and all.

Mike and I worked on a multi-book multi-figure trade which went very smoothly. Once we came to a deal he provided payment quickly and sent his books promptly. I would definitely do business with him again.

if you got another copy you're looking to cash & trade, let me know
Don't think I will be selling it since it's my only copy now.
Couldn't hurt to prod a little. Great book.
Of course. If I ever do it will be on this board.

It still doesn't seem like there are that many. The numbers don't look like they have been updated in the census yet. It also could be people were waiting to get theirs graded because the case issues. Only time will tell.
If you're talking about the black panther sketch, the book was still only selling for $200 in April, so the current census numbers are still meaningless.
And anecdotally , every person I know of with a copy has it in multiples.

I wonder why sales still seems sparse. It would seem right now would be the time to sell if you have multiple copies. Unless everyone is still getting their multiple copies graded.

I just sold one of my sketch 510s last week. Did cash and trade for some books I was looking for.

Super Real vs. The Movie Industry 1
1st Dan Mendoza work (Zombie Tramp)
Never seen this before in wild or internet.
I have this issue with the logo and price but this is some kind of "vigin" cover.
Anybody have any further information on this book or where/how I can get one?
I just picked one up on ebay... looks like one also sold last month.
Its noted in the description:
"This cover was not widely distributed, and was a print on demand exclusive from the creator limited to about two dozen total copies - so it is extremely rare."

Spent a couple hours already in a store and GF was already pushing me to go. I said let me check one more box and pulled this out:
Never thought I would find one in the wild especially at this particular store. Found earlier issue in the dollar bin when I first got there but figured I would find #13 because everything else was competitively priced. Was pretty beat up in the dollar box and the owner ended up giving this and the other two dollar books for free since I spend so much on other back issues.
Question is... Does it have a green spawn in the back cover?

$3,650 ending bid on the BP #1. Someone came in and took over right at the end.

It's going to be interesting to see how many get graded over the next several months.
I've been waiting to get mine signed... which will be middle of June...
That is so crazy. I'm am tempted to put mine up now. I bought a graded 9.6 SS Campbell and Stan Lee a couple years ago.

Wolverine #145 Nabisco Retailer Incentive Sienkiewicz Variant
......still valuable ?
Can someone with GPA access post this books history?

Thanks! I never seen that cover before. Looks like it's hard serially # and the cover looks like is perforated. Wonder how CGC would treat the hand written # ?
Any other micro print runs out there?
There's a few that Dynamite came out with. There are variants for Black Bat, Chaos, Damsels and others that have very low print versions.

I was wondering why I got a bunch of messages asking if it really sold at that price then i looked it up on completed sales via search on ebay and realized it shows up as sold at the list price...which it definitely did not. It appears there's a bug in the ebay site if the buyer exhausted all his offers and I ended up making an offer to the buyer via the ask a question response form...interesting...
Do you mind me asking around how much it actually sold for?

That eBay posting is temping me to post one my sketch 510s.
How many do you have?
The one on ebay is at $2,150 with less than an hour left. Don't think there will be much activity at this price point?
I have 2.
O really? What grades are they?
Jerome
They are both only 9.4. I think I stop being lazy and send them to get pressed and regraded.

That eBay posting is temping me to post one my sketch 510s. I swear whoever graded my copies was having an off day or was new because they put my books under a new category as "Campbell Variant Cover". So there are really 2 more besides the other 15 that are graded in the CGC census. They also only gave it 9.4 but really think it should have been higher. I was thinking of getting them pressed and regraded but just have been lazy.

Nice set. How much did you pick it up for? I've been looking for 32. Comicbookinvest mentioned it in an article recently. For issue 31 the estimated that it had a print run of 200-300.
