  1. The whole run, well minus #50 since I sent that one in a while back. That one returned as a 9.8 and the rest look just as good as that one.
  2. I'll be sending in my first large batch of pre-screens to cgc soon. I got the entire run in hopefully 9.8 condition. I should have a few extra early doubles for you guys. Hardest thing is going to be hiding all those new slabs from the wifey.
  3. Finally got around to sending some of my Darkhawk stash in to get graded. Really happy with this one. I tried researching the JC Penny/Sears/Stridex/MVP to find out what kind of print run these had. All the old links I found were not working anymore. It seems like most of these second prints are easy to find, but for whatever reason this one is the hardest to find. I have another one being SS, but it's 9.4-9.6 tops
  4. Bought some comics from Josh, they arrived quickly and just as he described them. Great seller . Thanks again!
  5. Bought some comics from Jeremy. He shipped them out quickly and in a very secure package. I'm very happy with my purchase and will definitely buy from him again.
  6. Instead of just getting a free 9.6 out of all this, how about just send the book in to get pressed? Is the book not close enough to be a 9.8? Adonis pays for the pressing fees and maybe the buyer gets the 9.8 that was assumed.

  8. with shipping it's over $100, I love Darkhawk.. but that's some pricey drek. Shouldn't be hard to find a cheap raw
  9. I had the proper drivers for the HP 8300. However, every few scans, either the software would lock up, or the scanner would stop scanning about 1/2 way through. I got VueScan and have never had a problem since. Hello! I just brought a HP 300 because all of the comments here. But I got the same problem as Kaptain here but using VueScan do the same thing I can only scan once. The first time it scan 50% of the image, I wait like 30 seconds then the rest show. Then when I want to scan another image it simply stop arounf 50% again and bug and I must restart the computer. I got the latest drivers from the HP site. Anybody got an idea here Thanks! Had similar issues with mine. I got my scanner working on my computer with VueSan, but it was buggy. Ended up uninstalling VueScan and the stock Windows 8 software started working, it worked good for a couple weeks then it started freezing up again. I gave up and just use my laptop with Vista now. Never had an issue after that.
  10. When I subscribed to Motor Trend, there was a section where subscribers would send in a picture of themselves with a Motor Trend magazine, usually someplace cool. Maybe doing something similar?
  11. Whoever receives the book and writes their name on it, also include their location.
  12. wow What's the story on the big stacks, are they also multiples like your #1's? Love those second print #5's you got, took me a while to even find one.
  13. Bought a slab from Jason, slab arrived fast and in a superbly packed box. Will definitely buy from him again in the future. Thanks again!!!
  14. I got this back from CGC this week, it was from a lot of the entire series I bought a while ago, and the rest look just as good as this one
  15. Looking at the specs on Amazon and they have the same 8.5 x 14 scan area, the only thing I saw different was the 8250 had the auto feeder on top.
  16. VueScan did the trick. Thanks for the help
  17. I'm not running 8.1, but I downloaded the generic 8200 driver and it works fine. I'm not a big techie guy, so I can't offer any advice. Any chance of setting up a profile with an older Windows version...? I'm going to try to use an old laptop with Vista on it, hopefully that will work. All the noise in the scanner worried me but hopefully it's just a software issue. Thanks for the reply guys
  18. Bought a used hp 8250 to scan my slabs from eBay, no software included so went online and downloaded the driver for Windows 8.1. The scanner acted like it was going to work since the scanner light up and moved to the other side but it slammed hard and continued to make some weird nose like the scan head couldn't move on its other axis (if it does have another axis), I tried to download different software for older Windows versions since there isn't any 8.1. Seems like it's a hardware issue but wanted to see if anyone had this problem before I go "office space" on it
  19. Sold a DC Comics Presents #26 9.8 to George, great communication with him, and was an easy transaction. Would definitely do business with him again. Thanks!
  20. Chase bought a slab from me, and it was as smooth as anyone could ask for, great communication and hopefully we can do business again. Thank you!!!!!
  21. Sold a couple slabs to Dan, he is a great guy to deal with, great communication with him and would definitely do business with him again
