there's no online retailers that I've found that still have copies of Disciples 1....I got 2 copies from MCS and they sold out right after that.

 

This is the cheapest I could find on ebay and it's $10 shipped.

I'm a big believer in equality. Religious equality, political equality, gender equality. so thats why I don't understand how someone can seriously say something like

I just contacted Jeff directly for the commission. Matt's was done through his wife.

Kindt and Lemire are 2 of my 3 favourite creators so I was pretty stoked to see them both at Thought Bubble - sharing a table too. I managed to arrange a commission before the con and I decided to get each to do something from the other's work.

Those are really really good! I am so gutted I couldn't make it to TB as I was poor on time. Matt, Jeff and Brian Hurtt would have been on my list I'll just have to cross my fingers and hope that another opportunity pans out over the next couple of years. There have been some great lineups across the UK cons this year which made for difficult choices.

Also, I always imagined Jason Aaron as this big scary guy () but I got to meet him this weekend and he was really lovely. So was Jason Latour.

I emailed every comic book shop I could find until I got one, which turned out not to be that many. Got it shipped from the US to the UK.

Had a great time at NYCC this year. Brought a coffee cup with a porcelain ink pen, approached some of my favorite artists for a sketch, and got myself an awesome mug for my morning joe!

Coffee Cup Project - NYCC 2014

That's one of the coolest ideas I've ever seen. Totally stealing this and doing it at thought bubble. I assume you got the mug in a starbucks? I can't find that exact mug but found others that should do the job. I just like the black bit round the bottom. Anyway, great mug you have there.

This commission Matt did for me at NYCC this year has me absolutely humbled.

 

How much was that if you don't mind me asking? I've got a $150 commission lined up so I'm just wondering if it'll be as detailed as that.

I actually liked this and am onboard for the next couple of issues at least. I'm surprised because I really didn't like Ghosted, and Nailbiter was .
