$1200 with 8 days to go....I haven't been following prices for a while and don't see any recent sales (nor do I have GPA) - what is the highest Blue 9.8 sale?

My favorite slab

Just got some great books from Mark at a great price. Shipping was quick and great responsiveness. What more can you ask for!?! Buy some books from Mark!

That's a nice commission... love the story...
Just one more thing. How do you get a fiancee to accept a table theme of comic book characters...
and you expect me to believe that Dirty Dancing isn't actually your all time favourite movie?
Hahahah - I will have to show off the rest of them soon. I think she gave me this so I would have no say in anything else at the wedding.
-
Ryan puts a ton in to his sketches, and when he is trying to man the table, talk to people, maybe sell some other stuff too it's almost impossible to take any sort of bigger sketch list. Exhibitors and dealers usually take up most of his list at a show since they are in first thing.
He definitely does. I beelined to him at C2E2 and got on as his last commission. Was really pumped since it will be part of a number of commissions I got done for my wedding. My fiancee grew up a ballet dancer and I love comics so we got a bunch of commissions for table "numbers" that incorporated dance and comics (so like Rogue Tap-dancing).
The Ottley commission was the centerpiece - my fiancee's favorite movie is Dirty Dancing, so it was just too perfect that my favorite comic book artist could draw his characters into the pose from the movie poster.

GPA is the company that tracks sales of books so people can get a real time feel for the value of any particular CGC book in a particular grade. I don't know what GPA stands for.
Gonna poop art.

Has anyone checked the rest of Latour's previous work to see if he's ever drawn a middle-aged white male before...? It might be worth looking into.
Good luck finding any copies. I am buying up all available comics with white males. One if them is bound to be the prototype for the next new hot book.

I had been looking for higher grade NM Annual 2 for a while and Anthony was a pleasure to deal with. Fair prices and absolutely fantastic shipping. Do not hesitate to purchase books from Anthony. A great boardie all around!

I have two 9.8 candidates.

I had been eyeing one for the last few weeks - entirely unrelated to any sort of speculation. Sigh. Should have pulled the trigger.
-
Wow! I loved this. I went in not expecting much - but wow.
-
That is my hope as well - I just can't get enough of this book.
-
Can't wait - going tomorrow night!

Loved the most recent issues - but that last page

Bernie's death page is still available?!?!

Just sent this email into the letters section:
"I have no words. The loss of Bernie has affected me greatly. I know that no characters are safe, but Bernie?! I am not sure I can continue reading this book. All my hope is lost for the future. I hope you know what you are doing Kirkman."

Looking forward to the comic remake of Weekend at Bernie's with Zombie Bernie! Maybe it can be an annual.

Thanks!
It's a bug. I have two emails from CGC, that they have my order, but it's some type of database issue... -

I enter my invoice # for my Modern Economy C2E2 submission and it says "details not available for invoice xxxx" yet.
I would imagine it should be received by now - or am I doing something wrong?

Very cool. Wonder what the gameplay will be like...

Here is a 109 cover sketch from Tyler Jenkins
That looks fantastic! Tyler is getting better and better.

Why are half of the replies - print out a scan and put that on the wall? Why not just print out a AF #15, just seems silly to own something that can never be displayed.

Bought a great X-Factor #24 - George sent it lightning fast and the book arrived in excellent condition. Well packed and will purchase from again! Thanks again George for the painless transaction.
