  1. so which guys are the crazy 9.8 registry guys? lol i may be able to help fill some gaps.. mainly with the variants.

may post in the for sale section but i have em posted elsewhere at the moment..

    but i have all 2013-2014 #1 con variants in 9.8, 50 hero, 78 lbw 9.8ss, 1 eccc kill them all 9.8ss, 101 ghost 9.8ss norman reedus, #1 escape 9.8 set. #1 skybound 5th anniversary BW 9.8... TONS! about 26 slabs :D

message me lets chat.. id like to move em ALL!

  2. I'm intrigued, I honestly no nothing about what goes on in sites like those. Apparently I like to gamble since one anniversary box should have been enough.

I know some use a site that generates winners of auctions. May be useful to you to look into that as well.

yes my last smaller raffle i did on there for 3 walking dead slabs i used one of the sites where i throw the list of participants in, click enter and it spits out a random name from the list. I can see people saying that can be rigged as well, so trying to be as open and thorough as possible

  3. not sure if any of you guys are on instagram... maybe noticed a lot of comic raffles going on there.

I have done two recently myself, but have been throwing out the idea of a BIG one.

I would be raffling off my Walking Dead #1 white label CGC 9.8ss with four sigs.. Kirkman, moore, bernthal and holden. There would also be a 2nd place and 3rd place and throwing around the idea of 35 spots at $100 each.. Got about 15 people interested at the moment but figured you're the walking dead guys and maybe you are on Facebook or instagram and are up for a gamble. :P

Instagram, FB, G+. I'm so out of the loop outside of here.

How are those monitored to know without a shadow of doubt that the "winner" is not just a friend of the individual holding the raffle and not later sold and profits split or something?

In no way am I thinking you would do such a thing. Just wondering if it is all on the up and up from other auction holders.

my plan would be to film the whole thing, from writing names down on the papers, to folding em and placing in a bowl and drawing them. Making it so theres no doubts or suspicions. Probably posting it on youtube for everyone to see since instagram only allows 15 second videos, not much time to do anything and make it legit.

also i promise i don't know magic, so no slight of hand or anything will be happening :P

or maybe i can rent out my local cable channel and do it like a lottery draw, with the like air machine that spits out numbers and a hot blond standing there... lol

  5. Ok who has the green label 116 third print on eBay......

haha. quite the reach on his price too seeing as the only 9.8ss yellow label to sell went for what.. $1500ish.

can't wait til the stacks of those books start popping up.. i know someone with a few non signed copies.. figure that one out when apparently theres only what 25 or so all signed by adlard lol

  6. I have a walking dead 1 (first print) pgx 9.9 ss Kirkman Moore. Any idea what I should list it on eBay for? Would I get a green label if I submitted this to cgc btw?

same issue that sold for $3200ish? then reposted for $4k not long after, didnt sell then all of a sudden is posted on eBay at 12k now BAHAHAHAHA

you submit that to cgc, you will get green label and most likely a 9.8.. making it a maybe a $1500 book. Which is almost what it is as a 9.9ss pgx lol

    incase no one seen it....

  7. Just to let you guys know on the WD 144 SDCC exclusive - I don't know if they held any back but the last copies on the table at the booth were the last copies at the show. Maybe fifty left total.

hm Dre, what about the 5th Anniversary boxes, were there a lot left? :wishluck:

I have no idea. They replenish supply from a room at the booth. All I know is that a lot sold - I mean a lot. Almost everyone who was buying books at the booth also bought the box set - and that's all weekend long. I bought eighty total myself, and I wasn't the only one buying in qty. I don't know how rare the B/W is but I'm not seeing a lot pop up on eBay.

Im seeing an eBay listing claiming 1700 boxes were made. could just be a guesstimate.

  8. For anyone on the Facebook. I started a WD comic buy sell trade group for comics only. Since all other WD groups were for toys and junk. ;)

    https://www.facebook.com/groups/1588601241419151/

ALSO Retro! i found a WD #2 9.8 for ya but he's not selling.. ill try and work on him.

Aw man......I dont do facebook. Is it any good? Let me know how it plays out. I might join FB....

I just created so growing slowly but surely. ;) I'll let ya know if any 9.9s or 10s pop up :P

  9. Thanks a lot guys I'll let you know when the comic arrives :) And I'll take a few better pictures and maybe a scan. As for the comment on the printing being placed a little high yeah I can see that just compared it with the picture of the HI cover I had and it seems a bit odd. Here's the auction if any of you are interested in taking a look at the description

Thanks man. I'll keep an eye on that seller. No way he's getting 12k for 10 books. Just sayin
