I recently won some original artwork from Heritage for some artwork by Ryan Dunlavey that he had done for Wizard magazine. Was hoping someone out there has a copy of the original Wizard magazines that could take a pic of the original. The Batman is from issue #164 and the two Dr Seuss are from #177. Thanks!

Sal was the Hulk artist for 2-3 generation of readers. Leaving when Byrne took over in 1985. There are only 2 Hulk (1 annual) covers, both from the 1980's. This means Sal Hulk collectors fight for the splashes and the decent panels with more vigor than some might expect. This is what I've witnessed in my own quarter century of Sal Hulk art collecting.
The Hulk is my favorite character and Sal my fav artist by fr. Been collecting his artwork for quite some time too and really painful to see how much even panel pages are going for in auctions. The early Sal seems to be the most desirable, I was able to get a later Sal Hulk page a few days earlier on Heritage for a price I was surprised at.

I sold the title splash to this book to Burkey a few years back. It just sat on his site for a long time before finally being taken down, not sure if it eventually sold or got traded. I remember thinking at the time I was surprised someone didn't snatch it up after i sold it to him, he had a reasonable mark up on it from what I sold it for and I would imagine if you collected Hulk that was a prime era for you. But it just stayed there for the longest time.
Ugh, I tried to get that page from Burkey, I loved it. Psyklop is one of my favorite Hulk villains and such an awesome splash. didn't have the cash at the time and couldn't work out a trade. One of my regrets for sure. Still looking for an awesome Sal page with the Hulk and Psyklop for my collection. Will never be able to afford this cover but I can dream, right?

Now, even NBA championships rings are going NFT...for millions of dollars!
Warriors NFT Championship Ring Sales Raise More Than $2 Million
I really really just don't get the NFT deal, how to you NFT an actual ring? Do you get the ring too or just a digital image of the ring? What is going on here.

One artist i was in general conversation for about three years before he agreed to let go of a piece I originally asked about. Another artist, I have been talking to for over 11 years and I do enjoy the conversations with him but still not artwork. Not gonna give up.

man, would love to go to this some time. Assuming that there is artwork that never sees daylight normally that comes out. Would love to see if there was any Sal Hulk pages.

I heard Sterinko is going the NFT route only so get his artwork while you can. That sketch above went for $20MM as an NFT last week.

How much did the lithographs sell for originally?

wasn't sure if I should put it in here but thought these were interesting: https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=p2499334.m570.l1313&_nkw=printing+plates&_sacat=3984 Looks like someone stumbled across a collection of these. I bought an old Hulk cover printing plate about 8 years back for $75, sounds like I got a good deal. Pretty cool to see these plates for those old covers.

I would love to go to HeroesCon again as I really missed it last year but it also depends on if other collectors will be there. Part of the fun of cons is meeting up and talking art not only with the artists but with other collectors too.

Surprised that Trimpe Hulk splash sold for that much, his Hulk pages are all over the place.

Trying to raise some funds for some auctions coming up. Willing to let this go for $3500 to move it

This whole concept is just confusing as heck. I feel like I need to go sit on my porch and yell at the kids to get off my yard.
is there a lot of turnover in the NFT world? Just wondering if people are trading or selling them actively.

Sam Kieth absolutely loved the issue he did on the Hulk book but will never pry any of those pages from collectors hands at least for a price point I can afford. alas, it is never to be.
