  1. 2 guns, 3 guns, and sixth gun....I'm starting to see a title pattern forming.
  2. Now is a great time to buy. I just bought a set off the bay for a little scratch. Now I can join the club.
  3. I still say Reagon or Thatcher hit him in the head with the candlestick in the library.
  4. I guess the scarred money argument might be out the box.
  5. I heard there is approximately three fitty and I mean 3 and a half cause one copy got jammed in the printer.
  6. Because there are other 4 page discussions about other auctions. 4 pages talking about the RRP..... Yeah I can read Branget thanks.
  7. What does reading more have to do with tracking and talking about one auction for 4 pages of threads? Whatever it sells for will not determine price in the long run. Wait a month or so and see what the average rate goes for.
  8. I've never seen such infatuation over one auction before.
  9. Supply has caught up with demand - if they listed them for $300, they wouldn't sell Maybe and maybe not. I was at the con and saw a ton of them being tossed around, thumbed through, crammed back into the swag bags they gave you. Also its strange that the portland one keeps climbing on the raws and the slabs are still selling higher. What was the attendance at St. Louis? I heard that Portland's was about 25k but some of those got the second print mailed to them after because they ran out of 1st prints. It was WW's first time in PDX and during a crappy part of the year so they may have under-ordered? I also saw a dealer with about a 1/2 long box full of these at PDX and that's probably going to be true at any show as well. I know first hand in PDX that some of the books we're rolled up and stuffed in back pockets. This is likely for any free swag at any show of course. To answer you question about attendance, I'm not sure cause sat night it snowed and a lot of people didn't show up on sunday. It must have been high enough that next year its coming back. I did see more manhandled than put in bags with boards. I have a raw left it looks 9.8 if anyone is interested.
  10. How dare you mention content !! I know EVERYONE seems obsessed with this one auction/
  11. This may be off topic but I'm really digging the "story" for this title.
  12. Um...none. An LCS isn't like a magazine store or book store that get to return their unsold copies. Diamond doesn't take books back like this. You order whatever you order, and unsold stock becomes back issues. Your LCS is giving you a fish story. Jim I have to agree. Diamond doesn't take anything back and I'm fairly certain they didn't in 2003 And they also don't fulfill all of their orders without giving explanations either.

  14. Understandable but when a few sell in the 300 range then all of a sudden people are listing them for 99 bucks in less than 2 weeks its like nobody is trying to make the most for their stuff. I don't know just amazed how low some undercut books on the bay.
  15. I got a question. According to ebay at the beginning of this month a 9.8 SS walking dead #1 wizard world st. louis variant sold for 300 and 315 range. Then all of a sudden some people are selling it for 200 now 99 dollars. I mean I understand if money is tight or needed and you gotta sell a book fast but come on people. Even a noob like me does a bit of research before listing a book, I'm just taken aback sometimes.
  16. me too - best gif ever!! So, I'm glad I'm not the only one! Best 3-4 minutes I ever spent.
  17. It might be flat right now due to some people saving up for their local cons this summer / and vacations. It'll pick up around August I heard.
  18. Yoda, you seek Yoda. Or in this case you seek elusive comic book that is super expensive.
  19. Good one, that was from Vader's days down in Miami.
  20. Not just any pinata, a darth vader one! :roflmao:not sure your guess is as good as any.
  21. But, but, but, you gotta flip it immediately man. Like you don't hold nothing just flip for fliping sakes.
  22. Is that the seller that has the business card holder monkey in the picture?
