Go into my submission status and click on the link for Finalized/Imaged/Shipped, takes you to fedex tracking.
That isn’t the status so no you can’t do that.

I've moved to "In Process/Partial Ship" status on my bulk order ... no grade updates yet though. (Also not sure where that new stage falls into steps.)
Same here. It says mine shipped today but I haven’t had a fedex email yet. And no grades being shown

I received that email today. Which is odd because the only submission I have at Grading Stage right now doesn't have any thick cards.
Neither did mine in my opinion but they claimed it did...

Not yet

When you say bid on containers do you mean the slabs?
No mate. The containers are the massive metal boxes that move across the world on the ships. People are bidding on space in them to get what they need from China!

My assumption is they, along with the rest of the world, are awaiting delivery from China. Things are so backed up that people are having to "bid" on containers and it is ridiculous. This is the only benefit of the doubt I can give them.
Correct. I have a friend in supply chain and this is literally what’s happening!

I got this one ... I'll take a partial delivery for sure. How soon it shows? I have no idea ...
yeah I was thinking the same. It made it sound like they would post them like the next day but they must have sent this to a fair few people so I am still thinking it’ll be a few weeks... that’s ok. Glad they have done the right thing

I was told by CSG that the larger holders were expected in the next week or two.
Well that doesn’t go with my email. Either way we are waiting. I was told end of May on the phone a few weeks ago...

Hi All
Just to say I got an email from CSG today, for an Economy lot of 20 that was registered 18th March, to say the following:
Dear Valued Customer:
CSG has completed part of your submission and will be shipping these completed cards back to you. The remaining cards will be completed and returned to you when the CSG Thick Holder is ready. CSG will cover the cost of the second shipment for the remaining cards.
The CSG Thick Holder is expected to be ready within the next two months. We apologize for the delay.
So they ARE waiting on thick holders, or so this says, and that there is a couple of MONTH'S delay. I am ok with it as they have finally communicated something, but they should have looked at doing this sooner. The kicker to me is ALL of the cards I sent were Upper Deck rookies from the last few years and I am 99% sure they are all the same thickness... but anywho I cannot argue, I will just wait it out...

Yeah I saw that. They clearly see the logic in not annoying most of their customer base

Card grading differs comic grading when it comes to manufacturing/production imperfections. If you look at the CGC Grading Scale, they speak of "manufacturing or handling defects." Imperfections such as poor centering or a less-than-totally-sharp image are technically manufacturing/production defects. Yet each can result in a serious/substantial downgrade. If you're going to "get into" cards, it's critical to be able to recognize the various imperfections that count against grade. Don't expect CGC or PSA to give the card "a break" just because the crease occurred during manufacturing rather than from post-production handing.
Hence the reason for my post. So you haven’t really helped me as I know the grading scale and I know it differs from comics, I am not dumb. I have been grading comics for almost 30 years but never took any care or interest in cards until my friend showed me his Pokemon collection. I just wanted opinions on if it was a manufacturing error or not and a potential grade if my friend wanted to send it in
-
Can anyone hazard a guess on grade?
-
Hi all. Been doing comics for years but my friend got me in to cards (god damnit! Lol)
He has bought a Pokemon card and I am not sure if this is a production error or the guy he bought it off is full of it so I said I would post here so you great people could confirm.
I get the crease on the side is what it is but the huge line? Also, if you wanna post a grade we would be grateful. Thanks!

I don’t know mate. Everyone is having issues getting stuff from China. It’s a known problem in supply chain management. It sucks to have to wait but I just got most of my submission back so I am happy. Ish. They only owe me one card and it’s for my PC so I can wait.
