    the stupidity of the male in sitcoms has been growing for many years, it began with Homer Simpson and each passing year, the dad or the male leads are the butt of the jokes this show is no different than many of other sitcoms

    I started watching this yesterday, what a missed opportunity. it's really not that bad and underneath the jokes are two very compelling stories that were wasted or washed away with cheap jokes and unnecessary I'd love them to re-edit this movie and remove some of the jokes i stopped about 1 hour in because i started watching it late

    Yes of course it is, hence I am also guilty of the same thing I am accusing others of - hence why I am full of it that was the point sorta of that post however I do believe this show put a target on its back with the way they set up the main character they didn’t help their defense by putting out a poor product (through I do enjoy it, but my bar is very low)

    The comment about getting stress relief and getting a hobby was an inside joke with Meta that he didn’t get - it’s a tactic people here use on other people (in other threads) to invalidate and make them seem disfuncional

    It’s apparent some of you need to find a better way to relieve some stress and enjoy life more maybe some of you need to get a hobby life shouldn’t be this painful I mean it’s a tv show based on a comic book what do any of you expect?

    You interpret it the way you want I could quote endless lines from dancing movies like when Tony in Saturday night fever it’s just dancing it don’t mean nothing or Dirty Dancing and how the crowd reacts to their moves or the whole premise of Footloose

    I think it’s fair to say that the comments made by the character in the 1st episode, that the fans who were turned off by that message are now watching the show for the mere sport of bashing the show, whether it’s the lack of quality, the contradictions etc the silliest part is that you still continue to watch the show’ Disney may have found the perfect formula youll watch whether you love it or you despise it reminds me of political talk shows
