  1. A few weeks ago, I noticed that under the periodical name World Famous Creatures, there was the word "updated" in red next to it.  Since I had previously submitted various issues to CGC over the years, and nothing new has been published by that title in over 60 years, I was curious as to what exactly was "updated".  I quickly found out that CGC unceremoniously deleted the listing for World Famous Creatures #1 U.K. cover and price variant that had already been in place for over a year.  My question is WHY?  Why is CGC singling out my cover and price variant issue while allowing a ton of other cover/price variant editions of both comics and magazines to continue to be listed?  I sent an inquiry to CGC back on 02-15-2024 with no response thus far.

  2. Bugfarm, to say you are a completist of monster mags would be the understatement of the year!  The photos you posted are AMAZING!  If you're ever looking to part with anything from your collection, please keep me in mind.  In the meantime, is there anything you haven't already collected that you still need?

  3. For years I had always received in the mail a cardboard mailer with certificates describing my "highest ranking" of a particular magazine title, but never received anything in all of 2023.  I know every year (including last year) in the summer CGC always promotes a competition and asks everyone to get their submissions in before the deadline.  My question is where are my 2023 certificates?

  4. I also have been waiting a year for CGC to get the magazines I sent in to be graded.  To make matters even worse, when I log-in to see the status of where CGC is with my order, I can't bring it up!  I can see my original submission order from last year, but can't access the spot that most recently (last week) said "Grading/Encapsulation/Imaging".  With all the delays involving the new magazine holders, perhaps CGC just decided it's best not to allow magazine customers to see where exactly how far along their order is (or isn't).

  5. I have a copy of this amazing book.  The author spent 10+ years extensively researching all things Warren, and it immediately makes the old Warren Companion book from years and years ago obsolete.  If you have ANY possible question regarding ANY Warren publication ever created, this is the ultimate reference book to have.  I remember there were only 500 or so copies of this book made, and they all sold out in a very short time.  I'm not going to say it's worth $800 or more, but  the vast amounts of Warren Publishing content inside makes this book very special.

  6. Just wondered if CGC takes into account any unusual smell of a comic or magazine that is submitted for grading, and would a submission with a musty odor reduce the grade, or are only visual characteristics taken into account when assigning a grade?  This question may have been answered somewhere in the past, but I can't recall hearing any discussion about it on the Registry.  Thank you to anyone who can provide any type of clarification on this question.

  7. Hello, This question was probably addressed at some point in the past, but if I have an item graded by another company other than CGC, and I want to send it in to CGC for grading, what is the cost and procedure?  Is the cost the same as a "reholder" for something previously graded by CGC, or would it be considered like a "raw" item submitted to CGC for grading the very first time?  Thank you for any clarifications.
