There were plenty of witnesses around at that time who did sketch cover opps that went off without a hitch who were real pros. Some still do them, some don't and some vanished. If one of the real pros fell off the face of the earth now, what would CGC do? Nothing.

This is a very hard issue to grade. I had about 8 of them and only one came back 9.8

I love this thread. Man there is a lot to go through and its gonna take a while. I just found it this morning and thought I would post up a few to contribute. Not all the pics are updated but it gives u an idea of our den/my comic cave. We don't put our comics up on the wall. Most are locked away. We just hang the original art we have from them.

Last year we had the other company at FanExpo Vancouver and not this year, CGC has listed that they will be attending up here in November.

Overall I give this show a thumbs up.
PROS:
Free Admission
Lots of space to move around
Artists seem happier at this low key show
I didn't see most of the savages that I see at other Vancouver comic shows
Great Venue, great part of town to be in on a nice sunny day
CONS:
No Keys

I picked up a book called "A Wolf in the Wood" by Tory Woollcott, and she did this little doodle for me.
She is from Toronto. Despite that, we roasted Toronto and she put over Vancouver as the superior city.
Toronto is basically a parking lot with a mayor. Just a needlessly large version of Edmonton.

@greggy won't be attending, so the pre-show shopping Bonanza will be less competitive.
The ferocious Roast of @aardvark88 will also be less competitive.
Our dollar boxes, while always legendary, will be extra legendary this time. @Thanos88 and I will retain our titles.
