Dan bought some SA/BA Spiderman books from me, with excellent communication. Extremely pleasant Boardie, definitely an asset to this community!

Price drop to $220 for the ASM 121 & 122

A classic ASM pair: 121 and 122 for all the Gwen/Goblin fans!
Notes:
- ASM 121 4.0-5.0: Has a small tear on the cover near the letter "G", which is visible in the scans. The book presents very nice otherwise, still very yellow cover.
- ASM 122 3.0: Calling this 3.0 because of the detached bottom staple (see photos), but it looks a heck of a lot nicer.
$185 shipped CONUS for the pair

Selling one of my absolute favorite books! I'm calling this a 6.5, but here's a link to the PGM thread I posted a while back if you'd like to read the opinions for your self (Note: due to Photobucket sucking the pics won't load, but it's the same book).

The Roy Thomas Gil Kane GZ CONAN run is among one of the best of the era IMHO
THIS! I was going to say the same thing. I think the GS Conan and Chillers have the best GS content.

Love this.
I eagle-eyed your lead photo but I don't see GS Superheroes 1 (1973 Spider-Man with man-wolf and Morbius). I've been trying to upgrade mine for years. When I do, I'll trade my old one for an extra GS Captain America if you have it.
Good catch! I accidentally left it out of the photo Shame because I have a nice copy. Now I have to retake the photo!!!

Gatsby called it in the Iron Fist thread, these shows are going to re-surface on the Disney streaming service.
Help me understand where you’re getting that conclusion from? The article says “no plans” to resurrect on Disney...what am I missing?
I was AMAZED that Luke Cage and Iron Fist got second seasons. Some of the worst writing/acting I’ve EVER seen in both series. They were both shockingly bad. I’m a Marvel diehard, but a tree stump would have made a better Luke Cage, and Andy could have acted circles around the that played Iron Fist.

The procedure was to contact and befriend the local jobber/distributor/wholesaler, no? This was a trick that persisted into the the 80s where comic book store owners, etc. could go to the newsstand guy (who was a bit behind the direct market) and get all the copies of Thor 337, ASM 252, and Punisher mini #1 after they were instant direct market hits. I first learned of this in 1985 when a store owner in Grand Rapids told me he could get me more copies of Punisher 1 because he'd grabbed 50 or 100 newsstand copies from the local distributor.
Also, I've always read that it was the instant success of Conan #1 that led to the heavy speculation in Shazam 1, Shadow 1, even other things like Black Magic 1, Secret Origins 1, etc. Followed of course by Howard the Duck 1.
