  1. I enjoyed it.

Not the best movie ever made, but not the bomb the critics make it out to be "or Hulksdaddy who seems to have been personally insulted by the movie lol".

Will Smith, Margot Robbie, and Viola Davis stood out to me with their performances. Would not mind a Deadshot solo or Joker + Harley movie.

Rotten Tomatoes audience score is 74%. That feels to me the more appropriate score. Definitely on par with Ghostbusters which if their critics scores were flipped would make a lot more sense to me.

  2. I watch the movie last night really enjoyed it. can't wait to go and see it a couple of times more.

    :o

Prepare to have your mind totally blown! Good to see some people who enjoy watching these kinds of movies review it instead of some wackadoo "critics" question the motives of characters and scene structure bull s. =)

  3. Jeez...Scott Medelson from Forbes reviewed "Nine Lives" (that Kevin Spacy turned into a cat movie...currently sitting at 0% on RT) and said that it was better than "Suicide Squad".

    That's a bit harsh.

It seems like these reviewers are just trying to make outlandish statements to one up each other and stand out in the crowd.

Movie reviewers are one the most useless parts of society. Even the "great" ones come up with gem reviews like

  4. Let's face it - most reviewers who are not comic book needs expect the Disney cookie cuter plot etc

If it's not Disney it's not getting good reviews

I predict this to happen with all movies going forward with the exception of Wonder Woman because she's special

A good movie is a good movie. Can we please dispense with this ridiculous notion that just because you're not a comic book nerd you can't accurately review a comic book movie?

When some of these reviewers are critical of how the character is behaving in the movie, when that is what is laid out in the comics, they show they are heavily unqualified to review something they don't even have a base knowledge of.

  5. Why do you suppose people get so worked up and energized to share how much they didn't like something?

I'm surprised by the strong desire to express dissatisfaction (or perhaps hidden satisfaction?) that this movie wasn't everything they hoped for or everything it might have been.

Seems like a strong desire to shout negativity to me instead of highlighting the really cool stuff.

"I'm such a big fan of the characters that I can't be positive about their largest, most financially successful expression in history." :slapfight:

It has become more popular and gains more hits/views/nods/barfs to hate on something rather than point out the positives. This is an epidemic in not just movies, but all media like video games, where there seems to be a need to belong and feel cool by drinking the negative juice. Also the bias in the critics community is clear. Not a single Zack Snyder movie has cracked 76% on RT? Sad really.

  6. If you're a Spiderman fan, you'll find some good things in this movie. Comparing this to Spiderman 3 should have your internet cancelled. It's not even close to that level.

There's a great deal of people that if a comic book movie isn't perfect, it must therefore be unwatchable. If you weren't able to sit down and enjoy some parts of this movie, I'm convinced you probably fry ants with a magnifying glass in your spare time. =)

  7. Watched it this morning. Terrible and inane. Why were all the people just standing ebbing barricades when there were massive firefights happening pretty much in front of them? Garfield was terrible as well...what a total hunk of .

You ever seen a fight break out in the mall? Everyone just stands around watching with their mouths open or cell phones out. Welcome to today's society.
