In response to Hickman saying the series will have 50 issues, I 'm suprised that this story could wrap itself up in only 33 more issues, that means we're 1/3 of the way through the series already? So many players, factions, and cultures to explore still. Not to mention "the dead lands" and the things that come from them. (Are these connected to death? Or are they something different, they attack wolf and crow) i guess its a testament to his writing that he can create such an elaborate and multifaceted world to just give us a glimpse of it.

I dont think they're actually serious about 25 variant covers. Thats crazy talk. That would bring the series to more variants than regular issues so far.

I don't see the Ranger having enough firepower to take on Death, do you ? Strategically, I could maybe see it if the Ranger got a more powerful weapon that he could shoot from space...

I think thats what makes this conflict so fitting. They're bound to join sides. The ranger is a charecter based upon vengence. Who better to team up with vengence than death?

Im assuming at its the rangers real first name. Bel solomon reffers to him as Hurk when he shows up needin help. (I think issue 7) I thought it was a sound effect at first, but later realized that it's Bel solomon reffering to the ranger by his name.

I like the fact that they have set aside their differences. One of tte things st makes this book so great is the fact that there are not "good" or "bad" guys, just differning factions and people who have different goals. If those goals oppose each other, we get conflict. Even death and the ranger getti into it had very little to do with sides, Hurk was just assasinating the chosen to pay his debt to Bel Solomon, and it happened to be as death was grilling cheveyo for information.

This is the issue we've all been waiting for. The Art was some of my favorite so far, we finally got the showdown between the ranger and death. And my personal favorite, got a look into the "dead lands" and a few puzzle pieces as to what cheveyo, wolf and crow truly are. This issue illustrated so perfectly why I love this series so much, its a perfect blend of sci-fi and fantasy. Its just as much a mythology of old gods and demons as it is futuristic western.

Sitting back down to read it through a second time.

#20 was awesome. Definately not what I expected, but seems like its going. An interesting, more "everyday life" direction. And of course, space drugs.

Anyone know what the bandages on marko's face on the cover were in reference to?

The rest of the book looks perfect. Its litterally only this corner. That was my dilemma, it looks like the paper is just pushed up slightly, the crease doesntt break color.

Hey yall, I've got a 9.6 saga RRP that the only defect on it at all is this blunted corner. It looks as if the top layer of the paper was pushed up from a slight impact, but does not look like any cover material is actually missing. Could this be pressed out, or is it a permanent defect that will keep this from ever being a 9.8? Thanks in advance, your opinions and help are appreciated.

Seems like 9.8 blues have been on the climb a bit on feebay. Ive seen a few sell for over the $200 mark.

I'd say its a safe bet that the ranger will play a very large role in things to come. He wasn't introduced until issue 6, yet he was on the covers of the ghost variant #1, and the RRP #1. I have the feeling his role is going to have a large impact in the story.

My $'s on death sacrificing himself to stop the apocalypse from taking place, thus saving his son and wife. But who knows, we're only on issue 8, and this is easily my favorite new book of 2013. Never thought anything could make saga look lacklustre in comparison, but the scope of EOW is staggering. So many players/possibilities...

All the RRP's I had signed just got listed as 9.8! In fact, all 25 books I sent to NYCC came back 9.8! Stoked! I'm going to have a pretty impatient week waiting for these to come back in the mail, but really glad they got graded how they did. I'll share some pictures once their in hand.
