  1. All I can say is, best of luck to you, sir. I just made a big career change, and in some ways, it's a setback for the time being. But the payoff could make it well worth the effort, and risk. Plus, it's something I've wanted for a long time. So I'm doing it. Hell or high water.
  2. Glare line is a scanner artifact and not on the slab or book.
  3. I will get scans if needed. It pains me to use that laptop, but the scanner driver works on it and not my new fancy one, go figure. Well, I probably need to do scans as the pics below don't do a good job showing its colors. $450 shipped and insured.
  4. REFERENCES Kudos thread ebay ID - brother17 ACCEPTED PAYMENT Paypal only. Payment expected within 5 calendar days of invoice. TERMS OF SALE First unconditional in either the thread or PM wins, by time stamp. If you have shamed yourself or are a listed reprobate, I will not sell to you. If you're just a knockburger who gets on my nerves, I don't mind selling to you. I generally prefer not to return slabs, but if you state your wish to do so within 7 calendar days of receipt of the book via USPS tracking, then I generally don't have a problem with it. Just don't make a premature purchase. Buyer's remorse sucks for everyone. If I do a job packaging a book and it arrives busted, then yeah, we'll fix that. By we, I mean insurance. SHIPPING Included in the cost. Comes via USPS Priority with signature. Any added shipping services are at your cost.
  5. I often go and look at the new exchange offerings, the sometimes I want to do a search. And that can be a hassle
  6. I still love those DD's he did. I am collecting a run of nm-ish raw copies. And the first Dark Knights, and the Ronin stuff. Loved all that and still do.
  7. Yeah, he's one of the sharpest graders on the board. I've never been let down with a book from him.
  8. What do you think he does for fun on his birthday? Scowls extra hard?
  9. Ryan bought a book from last thread and made the whole easy peasy. I'd be happy to transact with him again.
  10. Hi, my name is David and I use ComicLink. Too much. But they have all these obsolete books, and it's obvious. How is it obvious? Many books no longer have listing dates. Almost always, those books are no longer available and sellers don't respond to bids. ComicLink could easily purge these books by running a -script to remove books that lack a public insertion date. To test this, they simply take a snapshot of their database (sans photos), test the -script, and boom, we know exactly which books are available. Serious sellers who might be affected will relist their books, but all the garbage will be gone. The sales data isn't public anyway, and CLink would retain it. It would make for a much better buyer/seller experience. CLink, time to get rid of the false advertising! Also, I love you. Why haven't you called me?
  11. IM #55, CGC 7.0, note the overspray Some things bother me, like bad staples or foxing, but overspray, not so much. I don't know why that is. I'm sure some people it bugs all to hell and back. $550 shipped and insured in the USA.
  12. X-Men #1, now $950 shipped and insured in the USA. ASM #129, now $1600 shipped and insured in the USA.
  13. BHF bought a Defenders 10 from me. Great guy to deal with the whole way. I just hate to let him know how badly the Hulk gets his butt beat by Thor in that issue.
  14. Greg bought some bronze off me, made it all easy, was super nice when he thought I might want to hang onto a book, and everything went smooth as butter.
