  1. How long until someone uses these for store variants? 3....2....1...
  2. Right, Preacher didn't have that same humor and raunch that the comic did. Which could be the same thing as Boys. But maybe being on Amazon will change that. It's also going to limit the number of viewers though.
  3. Invincible #1 has been a big book for a long time. You're talking about a series that has over 100 issues. So, you're saying you could buy the entire run for $300? There are other keys in the run that sell well. You just have to know which ones to look for.
  4. I don't have a good feeling about The Boys. Maybe another trailer will change that. But, it's on Amazon and I'm getting a vibe like it will be the same thing that happened to Preacher. Maybe not and I am sitting on some, so I hope it does well. Y the Last Man is a big book already too like Invincible. At a show this weekend a dealer wanted $400 for a raw. From the front it looked like a 9.6 at least, but I didn't inspect it more at that price.
  5. Yes, it was around a $400 book before the original TV show option.
  6. Yes, but as I said. There is a good chance they do not bid on a lot of items on eBay. There have been board members that have agreed that this is how their results may look as well because they are not active on eBay unless something special comes up. Edit: Ah, I see you said they are bidding on multiples auctions of the one seller. I would agree as well then, thanks.
  7. LOL, I did a search and posted the most recent sales. A screenshot only fits so much. But you're correct. Still not anywhere near Alias #1 highs. Which was the point of the comment.
  8. It may be great and all, but non-Big 2 don't make the same splash. Look at the shows out now. Umbrella Academy and Deadly Class. Both are better than some of the Marvel shows and definitely better than the CW DC shows. Those books aren't even cracking $100 in 9.8! Alias #1 was a $400 book at one point in 9.8.
  9. Maybe I'm missing something. That email just says they won't encapsulate it. It doesn't say why.
  10. This had no likes before me. It was on topic, subjective, poignant, Imagine that.....
  11. Oh boy, oh boy! I can't wait to talk in circles about something that can't be proven!
  12. Stetting up the basis for a logical conversation and the first test cannot even be passed.
  13. How are you going to make comments on distribution when you don't even know who the distributor is or how the process works?
  14. Good point. Bleeding Cool is very accurate and the do in-depth investigative reporting.
  15. Marvel didn't hold them. Diamond did. That's why they dump the extras for pennies. To make room for more drek. Yea, I don't see any numbers in that article either.
  16. I have Word as well to "check synomym". No clue what you're getting at because you tried to use too many words that dont make sense together. At any rate, I read something about side stepping which reminds me about your remark of seeing "every real one" of the variants for comparison. I subsequently responded (do I look real important now?) No comment?
  17. A picture on the internet is pretty worthless. It can be manipulated, different lighting, different styles and quality of cameras. As some have said including myself, the one on eBay now has bad lighting and does not relate to the picture of the 3 together posted with totally different lighting and image quality.
  18. Wow, that's pretty awesome. Where did you see "every real one". How many was it? (Asking for a friend)
  19. If the court pleases, Exhibit A: These were caught within a week of release. It was maybe a $15-20 book then. Not nearly enough value to try and fake and release onto the market. Purple common to a close to complete black background variation. These were manufactured like this and distributed through Diamond.
  20. I have seen pictures of the counterfeit 667 with bronze staples. How do you know they have intercepted counterfeits? Where was this information made public? Don't you think people should know this information? Incorrect ink? Interesting. All comics from an entire, legit print run will have different consistencies based on ink distribution from beginning to end.
  21. Has CGC ever spotted a counterfeit Modern? Ever reported on one? Not that I can recall. With current printing technology, it won't be as easy as spotting a Cerebus or Cry for Dawn. The original fakes for ASM 667 had cardstock cover and bronze staples.
