Thanks everyone for their inputs!
6.0 was my thinking. The corner creases let it down, but inside the book doesn't look read.
There is a graded 5.5 from the other company on eBay and it looks rougher than my issue.

So confused with using both the new boards and the old boards with this tournament that I missed the round. No idea what was going on after the seeding round. Impossible to find the threads as each time it seems a new one was created. Sorry to have a moan but it was not clear to me at all.

Much more intuitive on an iPad but the colour scheme is a bit grey and drab. I prefer the inoffensive beige look.

I went 8.5 before scrolling down, it has a really clean back cover. I hope you're happy with the grade, lovely book!
-
5.5 a lot of colour loss in the bottom right corner.
-
Solid 6.0!
-
Yes I guess 5.5-6.0 depending on the mood of the grader.

5.0 for me too.

Yes I'll join, thanks.

My first foray into a Comic Link auction. Who knows what unexpected delights I will find on the back cover!

The only way this thread will get any further traction is to rename it "Silver age comics that are cooling off"

Just seen it.
Cloak of Levitation steals the show!

Is this film essential viewing in 3D?

Great blog Harry!
As a fellow Brit I can relate to those pesky Thorpe & Porter stamps being a constant eyesore on my collection.
I have thoroughly enjoyed binge-reading through your blog and will look out for more posts.
It's quite refreshing that you buy/sell your Marvel's based on the strength of the story and art, amongst the many thousands of collectors who buy/sell based on key characters! I'm currently reading the FF run from the start onwards, annoyingly it's all on the iPad, cheaper but not as immersive. If you need any issues to fill in any blanks I'd be happy to send them over, they are original comic scans.

Pleasure to deal with Claudio through at the VCC. Very prompt payment and great conversation to boot!

A bit of a backstory. I believe the guy bought over 100,000 comics from a comic book shop that closed a few years back, all of the books have just been in storage since closure. The collection was cherry picked by the owners prior to selling for major keys, although a few slipped through the net, like a couple of GSXM's! It's been great watching this guy discover all these comics. Shuffling through dozens of Avengers 181 ASM 194s and the like. It does put some perspective on some of the crazy prices these books have been going for.

This might cool down the new must-have bronze age comic, watch until the end.

Possibly. I can't see it being a 9.0 or higher with a press, I might be wrong though.
The reason I thought it'd be lower, there was an unusual smell and some inner staining. Tempted to look at the notes.

My first submissions came back from CGC today, it took just shy of a month including shipping from and back to England so I'm really impressed with the speed.
My predicted grades were bang on including both covers on the double cover X-Men. Stange Tales 111 came back higher than predicted, I thought it'd be a 6.0.
