  1. Going to add a couple more cool books. Daredevil #7 CGC 8.5 OWW - one of my top 3 favorite SA Marvels. I think I've slabbed more high grade copies than anyone else, including 3 or 4 9.4 copies (I can't remember anymore). I've NEVER managed to find an elusive 9.6 copy! Generation 2 CGC label and this book looks MUCH better in hand. For some reason the scanner is washing the book out in the scan but it's deep and bright in hand. Asking $3000 (shipping included)
  2. Venus #11 CGC 8.5 COW (1950) - "End of the World cover and story" - 3rd highest graded after one 9.0 and one 9.2 Asking $4500
  3. Strange Tales #159 CGC 9.2 OWW - Captain America appearance, Origin of Nick Fury retold, 1st appearance of Val. Killer copy. Asking: $1700 (shipping included)
  4. I'm going to be posting an New Mutants #98 CGC 9.8 in the MA/CA Forum in case anyone needs a copy.
  5. Daredevil #131 CGC 9.2 OWW - this is a 9.6/9.8 looking copy with a small back cover tear (top edge) keeping the grade down. Asking: $725 (shipping included)
  6. I'm going to be posting an ASM #301 CGC 9.8 in the MA/CA Forum in case anyone needs a copy.
  7. Amazing Spider-Man #124 CGC 9.4 OWW - strong 9.4 candidate. I subbed it with hopes for a 9.6 Asking: $1200 (shipping included)

  9. Payment: Check / Bank wire preferred. Other payment terms available. Shipping: Certified books, shipping is included FREE within North America, ROW we split it. Raw books, include $10 for shipping within North America. ROW I will split with interested parties. Who wins: Time stamp seals the deal as to who wins regardless of the form of communication (including PM, in the thread, text or phone conversation). A negotiation is not a deal until both sides have agreed on terms. If there is an unconditional posted (or communicated) it will trump all negotiations unless we have already both agreed to terms before the was posted. In that case, the will have been in vain. Except that it will give you street cred and look cool to passers by. No House Of Shame or Probationary members or any others of ill repute. I reserve the right to choose who I sell to. Returns: I am considered a very good grader among my peers ( Here is a link to my kudos thread ) but since even CGC is inconsistent I will not guarantee a CGC grade. I will guarantee to be within one grade increment in either direction - so if I am calling the book a 9.4 it could go 9.2 or 9.6. If it falls outside of those parameters (and it does happen that they go in both directions), I will offer a refund. But I don't expect anyone to complain if I undergraded it. I will accept returns if item is otherwise not as described or shown. Consider all books pressed. Pricing: I try to price books close to fair market value. I am open to offers but it's not very likely I'm going to be accepting offers at 30% off fair market value.
  10. Conan, my apologies. My use of auctions is fairly limited. I should have been more careful before I spoke, As someone who rarely uses my mobile phone for surfing the internet, I tend to agree. I understand it's the way of the world but I find websites maximized for cell phone use irritating to use.
  11. Are you sure? I seem to remember their scans only being a certain size and even contacting MCS about it.
  12. I did. The last time I was on there was years ago and didn't realize that feature had been added. I missed it. My apologies.
  13. The main reason I've not shopped with MCS is because their scans are so small. I can't imagine how many customers have this concern and potential don't buy vintage books because they can't see them in large resolution.
  14. I tried to get George on board with this concept of a price guide many years ago, using a different method. And that was to interface raw book sales along with CGC graded books. This was before algos were really popular or well understood by the general public. He was on board with the idea but the discussion wasn't really productive here. Surprise.
