This may be reading into things, but you don't know until the question is asked.
Guidance states "Sets marked “Legacy” on the Registry will no longer be updated with any new slot requests."
Does this also mean fixing errors that exist in the registry? ASM legacy has at least 5 slots that are misnumbered. Can they bve requested to be fixed?
Thanks

Thanks, much appreciative.

Searched the forums but did not find anything. If the sticker covering up the redemption number is missing, how does CGC treat this? Green label or just no 9.9 or 10.0 grades?
I bought a full run of ASM volume 3 (18 issues) a long ways back and none of the books have the stickers, just numbers for the digital copy. I was not thinking about grading when I got them so never looked until now.
Any known input would be appreciated. Thanks

I sent a few books out for pressing, all of which had Marvel Digital stickers in place. The books look nice enough, but on the inside the digital sticker has left an impression 4 pages before and 4 pages after the page the sticker was located on. Will those impressions lower the grade?
Thanks

LOL, Yea, because we should only grade books that are high quality or expensive. Tell CGC that and see what they you. What are you, Lazyboys mother? He was doing just fine on his own defending his position. Go back into the woodwork please.

Like I said...Close minded. Nuff said.

My opinion, is that CGC is getting inundated with crapola, that shouldn't warrant a grade and entombing in the first place. They simply can not supply the man power or quality control to grade this variant or that mid-grade non-key silver age book, that shouldn't be sent off in any sane universe. Save your money, hassle and time, and go get a 2 mil mylar and acid free backing board and be happy.
Okay, so where are you getting this close minded opinion from? Any, and every book sent in by someone is worthy of encapsulation and grading. One of CGC's selling points since they began grading is that there service protects the book for long time storage and viewing. So if I have a 2.0 book I can't get it graded to help prolong it life and fragile state without living in an insane world? one man's trash is another man's treasure. We pay for a service, it should not matter what condition the book is in.

Most common are the various moderns that are $10-$20 raw and $200+ in professionally graded and encapsulated 9.8. But a few just greatly understate the value because.....whatever. It can save a few bucks on shipping.
Exactly.

Just picked up an HP Scanjet 8250 Scanner this week for 100.00 on eBay. Used the setting in the OP's post and worked like a dream. Thanks!
