  1. Paperbacks are relatively worthless... but I like this one... the true first... i'm post-crossing it from the Peanuts GA forum just because its worthless there too
  2. This here is one of the rarest of the rare - but it's in a bit of a limbo land between the comic books and paperbacks and there is very little info out there about the true first printing. It was reprinted dozens of times with various changes in cover details but you don't see the first correctly identified.
  3. I'm honored to be the custodian of this very fresh copy He was a big influence on my skepticism about everything in adulthood
  4. Definitely has that !!! look - cover is actually by Julian Paul per Warren's paperback guide http://www.askart.com/artist/Julian_Paul/101959/Julian_Paul.aspx It appears that he did quite a few paperback and digest covers.
  5. Another one of the many suggestive Avon covers (and titles!) that also appeared in their comics. This cover is the same as the comic book Romantic Love #7
  6. Wow... I had no idea Stanley Meltzoff was an American Icon ... what a career! Many Signet covers including most of the Iconic Heinlein Sci-Fi covers... and of course... the Fish!!! http://www.silverfishpress.com/Book+Covers/id/40/
  7. The content barely fits the "JD" label but the cover art is amazing & totally in the genre. Plus the condition of this copy just set me back a step. It's square and glossy like it was on a rack new.
  8. Recent pick up - this is the 11th printing. The 1st in red is the best but I love the new gaudy gold banner and it is still under the first edition number... #798 and has the iconic cover art.
  9. I would think the Digest sized paperbacks should be a no-brainer as well.
  10. OK, here's some "JD".... I've looked for a better copy of Marijuana Girl for 30 years and i'm not convinced its out there...
  11. "Juvenile Delinquency" ... basically anything about youth gone haywire........ gangs... drugs.. fast cars/hot rods....hippie chicks... beatniks... music & art scenes... etc. etc.
  12. Ok, so i'm adding any jazz, blues, rock n roll titles i can get reasonably to add to my JD collection. They fit well in the collection, have a great feel and don't turn up too often in shape.
  13. One of the best Dell Sci-Fi covers, the Rogue Queen reminds me of Grace Jones a little (ok.. a lot!)
  14. I think she's just a snoopy old bat... to be gender incorrect lol!
  15. GGA doesn't get much better than Infidelity ... that lady out the window can't keep her snooping eyes off 'em
  16. In a far, far distant time, when the world was burning... Hard to find this rare book unread like this too...
