  1. I won a stack of preliminary art back in March 11, and there was no update on its shipping status since then. I messaged ComicConnect support about it yesterday and I was told it's "unavailable" and the consigner has not sent it in (is probably refusing to). They just completely removed the order from my status and acted like nothing ever happened.

Is this a normal thing with ComicConnect? Has this occured to anyone else who won auctions on ComicConnect? Is there any recourse to this or am I expected to just suck it up?

I mean the comicconnect system seems flawed and I might be hesitant to use Comicconnect again in the future if a consigner can just refuse to send in their consignments after the auction has ended, because they aren't happy with the final hammer price and I can't even give them feedback on the transaction.

  2. Got another one: williamwolf84

    Immediately sends me:

"I accidentally hit order button when I was looking at this a few seconds ago. Can you please cancel this order?"

after checking out, and paying for a buy it now listing :pullhair::censored::frustrated:. He only has 95% feedback and 2 negative feedback from previous sales.

  4. Heads up to be careful with the buyer: "Midfielddive or "www.comicsforsaleonline.com" on ebay if he bids on your books and also a reminder for non-us/Canadian sellers to use tracking

Sold a low grade Flash 139 that he claimed "didn't arrive" back in June. It was my first time shipping comics from Canada, so I didn't do tracking (shipping would've been $16) and I noticed a few sellers from here does that as well (so heads up to those sellers). After 3 weeks after shipping the book, all he asked for was specifically for tracking. Well, I guess he knew how to play the field, because no tracking if they ask for it = screwed. Maybe there's a chance it really didn't get there, so here's a reminder to use tracking for Canadian sellers or watch who you ship to if you don't use tracking. $60 Lesson learned.

Book was sent to CA, Mountain View if you were wondering.

Would love to hear if he pulled this on any other Canadians/internationals
