I started buying cgc recently after getting tired of sellers who don't know mint from shredded paper. I opened up about 6 so far. So far the grading has been pretty inconsistent. That and it's completely random when they have any of that microchamber paper

 

Post the books to the grading forum. I'd be curious to see what you're seeing as inconsistent.

Do you mean post pictures? I don't really have time for all that. I'm not saying the grading is way off the mark or anything. Just little things like, for for example, a 9.4 having nothing I can see wrong and a 9.6 having obvious creases on the covers. That and pages listed as white but clearly being off-white, but I don't know if that was storage issues. Sorry if I was a bit hyperbolic

My question is, who pays to grade and slab a 4.5 and who the hell sent in a 2.0 to be graded? Strange times.

The same ones who think a 4.5 is Near Mint on ebay >_<

Not anytime soon. And if the movie is good, forget it. If you really want a nice copy, buy now, or in 5 years.

New to this forum and started buying graded stuff just out of sheer frustration from garbage sellers on ebay.

Anyway, I was getting back into comics and trying to put together a mcfarlane run, but with my luck, this stupid venom movie gets announced. Any chance these early venom issues will come back down to "normal" prices or am I just screwed now?
