I know what you mean on the Bradford Exchange, my parents got caught up with that company and bought a lot of now useless "collectibles".

I am noticing some of my 9.8 comics are showing some warping on the covers. what causes this and can it be fixed by CGC?

They were not like this before. They are stored in a card board box made for the CGC slabs in a closet.

Doombat picked me up a 2019 SDCC exclusive and it was shipped lightning fast, excellent communications. Great person to deal with. Thanks again.

Yes, I ordered a copy, I really like the art on this one.

But we'll see if the store variant games will be in effect. i.e. many copies got damaged, more show up later etc. and many do not receive their copies.

Bad news, CGC emailed me today saying the Stan Lee Labels are no longer available. Some of my recent Stan Lee signed comics have been on hold for about 2 months .

Been waiting to see if they were going to continue with the special label.

I would not chance it if you value the special Red Label, I have a few comics getting graded that I sent to a facilitator last June doing one of the Stan signings. I requested the regular Stan Lee label

and today CGC sent an email stating the Stan Lee labels are no longer available. I believe the Red Labels were exclusive to Excelsior Comics in Santa Ana AKA Anastasia's Collectibles.

The (Secret) Virgin Cover and the B/W Cover.

I'm not sure about this one, will this title be as sought after as HQ or Venom? Is it worth investing in for value or just pc?

Cool. Thanks guys. I pre-ordered 1 before the con. I would have bought more if I knew it would be that limited. I just picked up a few more. $50 for a con exclusive 500 print run Capullo sketch seems like a deal. With Millar as the writer I like the chances of a movie getting made eventually. I just have to be patient. I sold two 9.8 Deadpools for around $300 I think each after giving up on them ever making a movie. Needless to say that was a bad move.

Looks like someone is pre-selling them on the bay now, he must have picked quite a few of both Secret Sets.

 

Seller is from the UK. I'm sure it's more "extras that they found". I'd bet it's the sadlemon guy. Never buying from him again.
